Theresa served us today and was exceptional in ensuring not only that our daughter had the correct sized walking boots, but also made sure that she knew how to fit, lace and tie them appropriately for comfort and safety during hiking. We spoke with multiple other staff members who were also extremely courteous, the store reminds you of why visiting a real store staffed by knowledgable people who take pride in their work, is always better than either online or by staffed stores who don’t care.

We visited today, primarily to look at camping chairs. Whilst there, we also enquired about Air beds (as ours is leaking). We spoke to Joel D who was excellent in giving us information on All the options, benefits & disadvantages of Air beds/self inflating mats / camp beds . Whilst we were enquiring, we also asked about a new air tent (to replace our "old" Outwell Montana 6, which has been brilliant), Joel was brilliant in explaining the options, Zempire, Berghaus, footprint, carpets etc.
He's given us lots to think about, I would definitely recommend speaking to him. So friendly, helpful

I wanted to return a coat that I had ordered online to get in a bigger size. Rory served me he was very helpful.He gave me full refund first, he then checked the stock levels and found that they had 4 in stock. He then asked another member of staff ( Ant) to find the item which he did promptly. All in all the service was brilliant. Thank you

The lady serving me made a great effort to get my sale through, despite there being a company wide issue with card/phone transactions. I cannot praise her enough!

Thank you to Theresa who was absolutely amazing today. Nothing was too much for her, she told me all about the shoes I was interested in. And helped me decide which would be the best shoes for me. She is extremely patient, I swapped shoes several times and the whole time Theresa was helpful and pleasant. This lovely lady works really hard. However when we got to the till a young lady was just chewing chewing gum and acted like she was bored and “Jo” “Imogen” and a gentleman who worked there were stood around, talking about another colleague, saying they had put down they could work any hours and now they had let them down. I just don’t think it’s very professional to be gossiping about another colleague in-front of customers. The 5 star review is for Theresa, who was lovely. If I was giving a star rating based on the other 5 colleagues it would be a 1 star.

Bought my son a jacket, in store help from Clare who was attentive and friendly and Harry at checkout who was friendly and had great chat. The best store in Hanley.

We went in store to spend a gift voucher we'd had for Christmas and managed to find everything we wanted, in stock and within budget. Tom served us at the till and he was such a nice lad, polite, happy and chatted away to us. At one point he got stuck trying to open a security tag and his colleague Jo came along to help and sorted it straight away - teamwork!! Staff and store make Stoke Go outdoors the best experience !!

Tom served us today after purchasing some fishing equipment and he was very polite and smiley throughout our experience. His customer service was faultless. Thanks, Tom. We also received help and guidance upstairs while searching for accessories and again, great service.

Visited store again today. Had great advice from Imogen on rucksacks for my daughter. Really knowledgeable and friendly and took time with my daughter. Brilliant experience. Some fab young staff in store.
