We called in to look at some new walking boots for my partner. A lady approached us and asked us if we were being looked after. We asked to see a few different pairs in the particular size and the lady, Miranda, went to get them. After trying on at least 4 pairs and needing other sizes to try, we settled on what we wanted. Pretty much a perfect transaction. The guy at the till was polite, upbeat and professional too so overall a great experience. Well done to Miranda and the helpful staff at Go Outdoors Skipton!

Miranda was extremely helpful when I was buying some new walking boots and socks. She's clearly very knowledgeable and strikes an excellent tone with customers.

Miranda was brilliant in recommending what to buy for our son who’s off travelling. Her knowledge of the products was outstanding - and she was just generally wonderful- really couldn’t have been more helpful.

I was served by Miranda who was very helpful and knowledgeable. Came away with a new pair of hiking boots, new waterproof and some walking shoes, really happy with all of them. She took lots of time to make sure I had the right fit.

Called in to purchase outdoor shoes. Good selection and I tried a lot on before purchasing some.
What was outstanding was the customer service.
Being greeted warmly by Jamie, then having the time without pressure to try on all the shoes. I felt listened to (about what my needs were) and received good advice and suggestions from Miranda.
I was also shown some socks (salomon slim with bottom padding) that I purchased)-these are the comfiest socks I own now!

I visited Go out doors Skipton looking for a waterproof jacket. Unfortunately there was nothing in the colours I was looking for, but the assistant, Miranda was very helpful and tried her best to help me.

I would recommend this store.

My wife and I were in Go Outdoors Skipton this morning looking for waterproof trousers for me and boots for my wife. We were helped by Miranda who was able to point us in the right direction and give us appropriate advice. We always enjoy being looked after by friendly staff and were very happy with our purchases.

Visited the skipton store to buy a new down jacket. Alison who assisted me, was really helpful and well informed, she guided me in the right direct. Would highly recommend a visit if you are after good outdoor gear and staff who know their stuff.

Wanted to apply for a good outdoors membership card however was struggling to complete the application online. The lady in the Skipton store was very helpful and completed it instore so recieved the discount off our shopping straight away. A huge saving from the normal retail price.

Excellent service from Alison, friendly and extremely helpful, would definitely recommend a visit to this store if you are in the market for anything "outdoorsy".

The boots I bought seem fine so far though my last pair of Hitech leaked after a few months as the leather seemed to loose it's outer coating. I decided to give them another go so time will tell.
