Excellent staff everytime I go in, Sam & Luke were very helpful they made me feel so comfortable & at ease.

Served today by Sam, who was very helpful and friendly, and made finding the right item easy.
Very happy with coat, which is lightweight but warm and waterproof.

The Scarborough staff were amazing the other day when I visited. Really bubbly, outgoing and extremely helpful! So chuffed to have been treated like a real person by staff that were knowledgeable and they helped me find exactly what I needed. Very pleased with my new coat.

The in store assistant was knowledgeable and helpful

I went in to buy a knife and was told I could not buy one . I asked why are they I the shop then. And she called the next customer
Which i thought was rude
She had curly hair
By the way I am 61 years old.

I will not go to shop again unless I get apologised to.

I needed to replace a pair of Meindl walking shoes that had failed stitching and went to the Scarborough branch. Luke and the other staff were all very helpful and knowledgeable and I ended up with some Merrell Moab 3 GORE-TEX. Very happy with them so far.

So, I'm not much of an outdoors type person which means I don't visit shops like this often. Also, I'm not from Scarborough (I guess a lot of people aren't given that it's a holiday destination) and although I am a northern lass myself, the people of Yorkshire have been a delight during our stay just down the coast, David and Sam who served us excelling on that front. As an exercise on customer service they were brilliant. Helpful, knowledgeable, polite, personable ..... a big help when I was completely out of my comfort zone. I bought exactly what I needed at a good price thanks to enlisting in the Go Outdoors club. It's not the biggest or fanciest shop but that doesn't matter if you have good staff. Thank you both and thank you Go Outdoors.

Pleasant and friendly staff member who helped us to apply for the go outdoors card. He was very patient and gave us information on how the card works.

Great little shop that has a bit of everything inside, I needed a replacement double inflatable mattress for my daughters who were on holiday with us. I had tried different shops in Whitby with no luck and this shop was just around the corner from the car park in Scarborough.

Been in twice while staying up here and Sam served us both times she was very helpful finding my account and getting us the last minute items needed for our camping trip

Excellent service from Sam. Only bought a few items along with renewing my membership. Sam was very professional with me and my son who quite rightly was not allowed to buy a swiss army knife due to his age. Sam wouldn't even let me as an adult buy the knife for him. I think that is fantastic service which no company could ask better for.
