Given incorrect information that you need to be a member to get the Duke of Edinburgh card which was wrong and got told we had to pay 5 pounds for a card we already had

Excellent Customer service from Luke today. He was superb today under trying conditions. Initially there was a problem with the tills so we left our items behind the counter and continued shopping. Unfortunately when we came back someone had collected our three boxes of shoes and put them back into stock. Luke was great in getting them retrieved for us. Then we had some vouchers to use. They were unrecognised initially but soon sorted them all for us, Great front of house work by Luke and his efforts should be recognised by his manager,

Served by Alfie. Very helpful young guy.

Ordered a gift card on line to be delivered to home address for a birthday gift. Did not arrive on time or at all. Contacted customer services to be told it had gone astray with promise of next day delivery for a replacement. That was 2 days ago and it still hasn't been delivered. Very disappointing

Were looking to get our first pair of hiking boots with my girlfriend today and got served by Kojo who helped us make the right choice and provided us with guidance and some useful advice to ensure we are happy with our purchase. Super nice guy, great service!

Alison was great today. Very helpful and also very chatty. Great customer service.

First time visiting since the store has been refurbished. Visited for a click and collect item, could do with sign posting for the collection counter which is upstairs in the fishing section. Great service from Alison who served me 😁

I called in to the Preston Branch today to buy a woolly hat. I was served by Alison, who very polite and very friendly. I have never had a bad experience at GoOutdoors. Great store and amazing staff.

Alison guided us through our purchase and saved us some money to boot.

I visited your Preston Store yesterday evening 19th November to pick up some click and collect items ordered earlier. I don't normally do click and collect but on this occasion I wanted to make sure I got the right sizes.
After some initial confusion about a member of staff to deal with me ....which I hasten to add was no issue and just one of those things....I was served by a very pleasant young guy called Jack who couldn't apologise enough for the delay.
I was then served by Alison at the downstairs till to pay for the items.

Alison was pleasant polite down to earth and very efficient.
Thank you to both those members of staff for a job well done.

After the experience yesterday I think Go Outdoors Preston will be my go to store.

PS. Can I make a gentle suggestion it might be helpful to have some signage to say Click and Collect is done at the Fishing Republic Desk on the first floor.

Called in Preston store for a refund and get the next size up.
While my partner was looking around and managed to find some very good bargains.
I got talking to a very nice young assistant called Josh about base layers.
He was polite, helpfully and extremely knowledgeable.
The information he gave me certainly will help me plan my clothing for the trip to Norway in January.

The staff were really helpful and polite. The clothes were of good quality.

Didn’t really go to buy anything but merely to have a look around. I did however find some new water proof footwear at a bargain price with my membership. Whilst there I sought out the fishing section which was limited in choice but again offered a discount with my card. A little let down with the newly offered “pre sealed maggots” which when I got home were found to be more unusable casters! Phoned the shop to advise them to bin them as they weren’t any good! Overall shopping experience was fair with good interaction with the staff I dealt with ( especially upstairs) but being miles away it might be a while for a return trip

I was a little disappointed that there was no Yeti products in store and you sell solo fire pit accessories but not the actual fire pit in store .the fishing and mountain bike sections were impressive
