Excellent customer service from Ethan. He was very helpful, gave great advice and spent time making sure I got the right product.

Ethan and his colleague were super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly when I visited today, full of good advice and made me feel valued even though I was buying only a few pairs of socks. They have a great range of stuff for sale and saved me a 40-60 minute drive to the bigger shop in Stockport. Nice one Ethan and team, keep doing what you do so well 😀

I visited the Macclesfield Go Outdoors Store this afternoon, I am a regular loyal customer, and I always find all the staff to be excellent at customer service. Today I was attended to by Ethan as I was viewing walking shoes, he listened with interest to my requirements and advised me on a couple of options. He immediately informed me that he would go to the storeroom for my size in both options. At no time did I feel pressured or rushed and I found Ethan to be extremely knowledgeable. The service offered by Ethan was excellent and he offered an exceptional standard of service. I do hope you commend him for his efforts today.

I had a problem with tracking poles that I had borrowed they would not lock.
It was awkward as I had only used them once and I honestly think they didn’t lock properly when I was given them.
I tried everything to get them locking, on line videos, chat GBT, everything 4 hours spent with no success.
I went into your Macclesfield store and was asked if by your employee “SIF” if he could help me.
I explained my problem and he immediately went and got some pliers, he then took one apart tried everything then said he thought I might have to buy new ones.
Then he said I will try one more thing and hey presto he fixed them.
He spent half an hour helping me and I was so relieved as I know I couldn’t have replaced these poles with exactly the same. I have now given them back fully locking to the owner.
I am going in to your store next week to buy some poles for myself and will make sure Sif serves me.
Your female manager was lovely too.
I am a member of a walking group and will tell my fellow walkers if they need gear to go to your shop.
Wish there were more shops with assistants like SIF.

Such easy-going but personal service assisting me to choose walking boots. Every time I use this store it always goes the extra mile to assist and recommend.

Excellent service from Anders who helped me choose some new walking boots. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

The fit of the Brasher boots was so good that I had no hesitation in making the purchase. Steve helped with some good advice about lacing the boots to avoid stressing the ankles.

Staff - Ethan especially - helped me with sizes and fit of new Brasher Hopegill Parka.
At the till my membership had expired so sorted that as well. Andrew was also very helpful in locating my account.
All in all, a very pleasant experience.
