Come in with my dog looking for a dpg walking coat expecting to be in and out, I have on so mich weight so there for ended up trying on a few different types. a lovely girl helped me choose one was very patient with me. I felt uncomfortable over my weight situation but felt comfortable around her and judged

Eric and Emma were both very helpful. Eric assisted my husband with us buying a waterproof. Eric then called upon Emma when he Eric was unable to give us directions to a tourist spot in Liverpool. The helpful service that I received when looking for a particular jacket. This was from Paul and Eddie. Nothing was too much trouble to find what I was looking for. It made my shopping experience a pleasure.

While on holiday, I purchased a Berghaus jacket due to the forecast predicting rain. At the counter, I politely asked the shop assistant if she could cut the tags off so I could wear it straight away. Her response was unexpectedly sharp, telling me to wait until after the transaction had gone through.
I completely understand the need for caution in retail and the potential for misuse, but the tone and manner left me feeling quite uncomfortable—as though I was being treated with suspicion rather than as a valued customer. What made the experience more disappointing was that I didn’t even receive a simple “thank you” or “goodbye” after the purchase.
A little courtesy goes a long way, and unfortunately, this interaction took away from what should have been a pleasant and straightforward shopping experience. My experience from shopping at the store in Arndale, Manchester couldn’t have been more different and the staff were lovely, helpful and very friendly.

James at Go Outdoors in Liverpool was extremely helpful when I went in to buy walking boots. I was in there ages trying on a number of different pairs and he was very knowledgeable and patient. I have size 12.5 feet and find it tricky to find shops that stock my size so was very impressed that Go Outdoors had large sizes for all the shoes/boots I looked at. Thank you, James, for all your help.

Eddie told me where the umbrellas were and came over to help me, reading the labels and finding out the difference between two similar priced brollies. I didn't have much lunchtime left, or my glasses with me and so i was very grateful. Thanks Eddie.

I bought the wrong size in Manchester on Saturday, but was sorted out by Eric and Lea today in Liverpool with a better style and better fit. So happy I had to spend more money on some bargain Peter Storm socks.
