Great knowledgable staff but the lack of staff is worrying. I saw about 4 staff members at once serving multiple people all in one go. I don’t know what wages they are on but I hope it’s worth it.

Aimee served me today and she was absolutely amazing. She was so patient with helping me at the till. Her calm manner helped me when having technical issues with my bank card. She is a credit to the aintree store. Thank you so much Aimee.

I was served originally Adam L who helped me with the purchase of my Berghaus air tent and gave great advice. It’s refreshing to have such good customer service and attention to detail, which made the shopping experience easy. Thank you.

I ordered numerous items and paid to collect. One by one every item I ordered was cancelled due to not being in stock. The items weren’t cancelled at the same time but individually which took over a week, delaying my purchase from another company.

I did email the company for clarification if my whole order will be cancelled due to timescale I needed to order elsewhere but they reassured me the rest of my order will be ready for collect. It was then cancelled days later.

We haven't bought any camping gear for 20 years or more so its all new to us. Inflatable tents, rechargeable lamps, self inflating mattresses. The staff at your Bootle branch could not have been more helpful. We probably had over an hour of questions about equipment and it was all answered with great patience, as much detail as we wanted. Seriously impressive staff. Shout out to Morgan and Chris, the regional. Thank you

Went into your Liverpool store today near Crosby to buy some clothes for my wife . A young lady named Annamay served me . Young lady in her twenties, with coloured hair . I am a retail manager of 35 year and appreciate excellent customer service . This young lady has exceptional customer service and I would love more people like her working for me , she is a credit to you company and I would love her working for me . I got everything I need with 5 star service , thank Annamay, you made my shopping experience, thank you

My son is following his friends into angling, something I know nothing about. Went to Bootle Fishing Republic and was served by James.

We were totally naive as to what was required. James helped us describe what kind of fishing we would be doing; found us the appropriate kit to get started, advised what was superfluous

James even had some disused equipment under the counter which he used to demonstrate to my son how to set up his first fishing rod and “rig”

I had no idea how much it would cost to walk out with the basic minimum but I was pleasantly surprised at the price

My son has already been back to buy more stuff as he learns more, so James has won Fishing Republic a long term customer

So Fishing Republic have a lot of current and future sales; my son was able to get started and has caught his first fish; and I was pleasantly surprised at the price.,Everyone is happy - except the fish.

This is how society is supposed to work, a transaction that benefits all parties.

James skill and charm has generated thousands of immediate and future income for his employers. It is only right that he shares in these mtutal benefits , rather than them all being stolen by distant psychopathic oligarchs.

So James thoroughly deserves £20,000 annual bonus and should be recognised by his employers in the only way that really means anything

Great help and ease in collecting my order staff very helpful appreciate it

I ordered 4 fairly standard items via click + collect. They split the order into 3 different shipments which I consider fine if that’s how their distribution network works. However, the items still show on the website as not being delivered to the store. I had to call them up to enquire as to what was happening as the items were supposed to have been available weeks ago. They confirmed that 3 of the 4 items were available at the store and the website just hadn’t updated. However, the remaining one (a pair of socks they sell in the store itself) are not yet available. This has been nothing but overpriced hassle. First and last experience! (Still unresolved)

Can’t fault them for range and pricing

Easy to order and apply discount code. As I did not want to wait for the free delivery, I requested to pick it up from the nearest store. All no problem and it was ready for me on my arrival.

I am in the process of getting £300.00 back from this company. My Grandson was riding his Bike the gears came off (not the chain. Go outdoors, says it has impact damage. and it wasn't covered by the guarantee. new Dec 2025. with 25 miles on the clock. Details were given to Go Outdoors. But to no avail. A letter before the court was issued. The latest Email they sent was can you provide the Address of the Bootle store. As there is only one Go Outdoors in Bootle, I am somewhat miffed why they want me to provide this address. I will issue my summons tomorrow....STAY WELL CLEAR
