We visited the Lincoln store looking for an MTB for our son. We met Grant, the bike tech and he was excellent. We couldn’t get the size we wanted, and whilst our son tried a potential bike, Grant’s expert advice ensured we didn’t get our choice wrong. Indeed, he located another bike at the chesterfield store and made sure the team began the prep so we could pick it up that afternoon. We did and I have one happy boy! Thanks to Grant and the Chesterfield team!

Very good customer service

We arrived at the store yesterday nearing closing time as a last minute decision to browse the sale items.

Despite this, the level of customer service we experienced was second to none. We were supported by a team of staff who were knowledgeable, kind, understanding and clearly enjoy their jobs. I must say that Ben in particular was exceptional, helping us to transport items out of to the car and even spending time recommending camping locations until long after closing.

Thank you GO outdoors, we will 100% be back!

When browsing the tents I noticed a lady hovering near us. I noticed she let us talk and didn't interfere my husband and I. We made eye contact she smiled and came over. ZAN answered our questions and suggested what items to purchase. ZAN was friendly and funny. She gave us the time to look around and if we needed her, she told us where she'll be. We felt relaxed knowing someone wasn't looking over our shoulders . ZAN is a credit to your company. And the lovely young man (didn't get his name) helped us take our goods to our car. It was also good that there was a selection of tents already up to look at and we were pleasantly surprised how cheap some of them were.

Visited Go Out doors again in Lincoln. Again the most helpful staff. Especially Zan who took her time helping me look through and try the rucksacks.

Ordered on line, and made purchases while in store too, all went really well. My visit was only marred by a member of staff who had clearly stayed up late to watch the England game 🙄 everybody else was absolutely lovely and extremely helpful 👍

Good range of choices, good service and good kit.

We visited on the 5th July, looking to buy a new tent as ours had failed in sudden and dramatic fashion whilst camping in Yorkshire the day before. Whilst browsing we ended up getting assisted by Callum. He was most attentive, showing and demonstrating to us all features of the tent we were looking at and was more than happy to answer any questions that we had. To cap it off he then kindly carried the fairly heavy new tent out to the boot of my car.
We’ve shopped at GO Lincoln on several occasions and have always found it to be well stocked with helpful staff, would happily recommend to anyone.

I had an astounding level of customer service from a young man in the Lincoln branch, when I bought a pair of Scarpa GTX II boots on 2nd July 2026 at 4pm. He helped me to understand the difference between GTX and GTX II, searched online for that, showed me the results on his phone, always remained polite, and recognised that I am experienced enough to make the purchase decision myself. He did a great job and I walked out with my boots, having worn out my previous pair. I did shop around and Go Outdoors couldn't be beaten on price.

The staff at the Lincoln branch were fantastic the order was ready to go when I got there and they helped me load the roof tent into my vehicle. I have yet to use the product but the service was great and the staff friendly.

Really positive experience. Thanks a lot to Abe. He helped me with finding the correct shoe for my hiking trip at a good price. :)

I went to Lincoln Go Outdoors to get advice about comfortable walking shoes. James couldn't have been more helpful & patient- I tried several pairs! He was friendly & seemed genuinely interested in us as customers! I ended up buying two pairs of shoes!!

Donna on the shoe and boot section was lovely. Very polite and had a real willingness to help. Even though she was serving someone else she made a point of acknowledging me, letting me know she would be with me as soon as she could. Brilliant!

Josh was very helpful, knowledgeable and patient when helping us find the right rucksack and ensuring it fit. Thank you
