I visited the Kingston store yesterday with the intention of purchasing a tent, and I had the pleasure of being assisted by Shon. He was exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to understand what I was looking for. Thanks to his guidance, I was able to find the perfect tent. I will be returning 😁

I visited the store with my son and had a long list of kit requirements for the Duke of Edinburgh programme. The store manager asked one of his team Aaron to help us and he was superb - he was highly experienced in DoE requirements and expertly guided us through the store to complete the list, ensuring we had excellent quality and value for money. Can’t recommend this person or this store highly enough.

Great store with a huge selection & Excellent value for money

Jessica was amazing! She helped my daughter Ellie with all her Duke of Edinburgh kit requirements. Jessica knew exactly what Ellie would need, did not try to sell her random, unnecessary stuff and was very knowledgeable-Ellie found her advice really helpful and was able to get everything she needed with minimum effort at a very reasonable price. Excellent service all round!

The reason I’m giving 5* is due to two exceptional members of staff - Kieran & Jess!
Kieran helped my partner & I find, setup & test an in-store ‘Hi-Gear Double Folding Campbed’, as we needed something off the ground on our camping trip. We were convinced it fit our needs & decided to order one new, to be delivered, but this unfortunately arrived damaged. Thankfully, Jess made the return process easy, whilst also reserving the backup in store, Kieran then tested it again & I bought it then & there! Kieran also suggested some torches, both for hanging up in the tent & handheld, I purchased both & they worked wonders. Most importantly, both members of staff were kind, respectful and very knowledgeable! They also did all this, whilst simultaneously tackling a big que of customers on the tills. Couldn’t have asked for more of them, they made what could have been a disaster, into a very fun, successful camping trip with my mates! Will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you both!

I was served by Leah helping me with my daughter’s DofE requirements. She was so helpful and full of knowledge plus gave me options of what I might need in all different price ranges.

I ordered on line and went to pick up my order. Unfortunately only one item was supplier.
I went back today at get a replacement and Alan was very helpful and friendly and helped me obtain a replacement at the discounted price.

It was poor, staff didn’t know about products . I spoke to 3 different people and just unhelpful

Popped into the Kingston branch to pick up one of their bargain £9 (special offer with the GoOutdoors membership) rucksack! My membership had expired so she kindly renewed it for me and was super helpful with my purchase. Such a nice friendly shop - the staff are always very attentive.

It is quite incredible that I paid £90 in total for a 3-man tent, a self-inflating mattress with built-in pillow (single and / or double) and a two-season rectangular sleeping bag, from a choice of three different shapes in varying colours. I saved myself a total of £130. What bargains are to be had. Absolutely delighted. Shall actually learn to enjoy camping again and have a comfortable night's sleep.

I went in to the kingston branch today, ro get a tent, and not only dud they have an incredible range, the staff were great telling me the good and bad of the tents available and helped me get the perfect one for me

Beware! The jacket I purchased was offered at a 'discount' IF I paid £5 for membership, so I did. When I got home I checked the price at other stores and they all sell at the price i paid, without the membership.
