Went into Huddersfield go outdoors needing a decent pair of hiking boots with no knowledge about hiking whatsoever. Jacob was the most helpful employee I’ve ever met, he knows everything there is to know about hiking boots and answered every question I threw at him and made the time to help me come to the right decision. I’m a very indecisive person so the fact he helped me choose the right boot is a real achievement. Was really helpful and I will definitely be returning to go outdoors Huddersfield. Kyja was also great on the till.

The store itself is very spacious and well stocked.

I purchased some walking boots to and was helped by Kimberley she showed me how to measure my foot using the insole and explained how much space I should have for my toes
I needed a size bigger to accommodate my thick socks and I am extremely pleased with my purchase and the way Kimberley helped me Thank You

I had bought two folding chairs one of which was faulty. I didn’t have the receipt and was advised by Go Outdoors Customer Services to return it in store. I’d like to thank Maggie in the Huddersfield store for her help and excellent customer service.

I visited the Huddersfield branch to purchase a rock sack and prior to this I had to telephone the store to see if they had this particular rucksack in stock as I couldn’t find it in any of the other branches. I spoke to the assistant called Holly and she was extremely polite and helpful. She said that she would put it on one side for me so that I could collect it the following day which I did when I arrived at the store I met Holly who was a very pleasant young lady and again very helpful. I was especially pleased with my purchase because it was for a birthday gift.

Helped by Nick & Nick today for some new equipment for our Scout Group.
Both really friendly and we got the help we needed with the equipment needed with great customer service.

I was very pleased that there was a good choice of sizes in the specific items I was looking for and Holly was very helpful and efficient in providing them. A good experience all round.

We came in to store to try and find some footwear for my teenage son, who has wide feet and sensory issues.
Kim was brilliant with us, calm, patient, made appropriate suggestions based on observations, answered our questions and no hard sell.
As a result we walked away with 2 pairs (none of us wants to go through this too frequently), one of which was the pair suggested by Kim and the other was the same brand.

I visited the Huddersfield Leeds Road store on Friday to replace my walking sandals after they finally died towards the top of an Italian mountain the week before. Lots of help and advice from Kimberley who also went a put the box behind the till for me whilst went and I picked up another couple of things. Genuinely helpful staff, with everything I wanted in the sizes I wanted in stock. Thank you.
