Store manager very helpful
Store manager very helpful. Online membership purchase could do with fine tuning or process being made clearer on website as was not straightforward. Excellent customer service in store however.

Friendly and helpful staff at Doncaster
We visited the Doncaster store as our son is doing an expedition tomorrow but we felt his sleeping bag and roll mat were too heavy and bulky. We asked Fay for some help and advice and have come away with a very small compact but warm sleeping bag and a self inflating sleeping mat which is also small and lightweight. Fay was friendly and knowledgeable and very patient with us whilst we chose the items we needed.

Called at Doncaster branch to buy…
Called at Doncaster branch to buy walking shoes plus other items .
My wife chose two pairs after a member of staff scanned the display tickets only one pair was available priced at £95 .
tried them on happy with the fit
At the checkout with other items queried the final price only to be told shoes were £135 After two members of staff checked and said display price was £95 one staff said system price was correct. no other explanation given at checkout said take it or leave it. This service is not acceptable and could have been dealt with in a much friendlier and more professional way.

We are very sorry to hear about the pricing confusion you encountered in our Doncaster store and the way this was handled at the checkout.
We understand how frustrating it must have been to be advised of a lower price on the display, only to be told a higher price at the till after you had already chosen and tried on the item.
While pricing discrepancies can occasionally occur, we completely agree that this should have been clearly explained and resolved in a far more helpful and professional manner. The way this situation was communicated to you does not reflect the level of service we expect our colleagues to provide.
We have contacted you via Trust Pilot for more information so that this can be looked into further. We look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards
Go Outdoors Customer Care Team
