We went to get a couple of things for a camping trip. Mimi was on the first floor and was funny and helpful. Chris was at the till, he went out of his way to help and was also cheerful.

Very friendly and helpful service from Adam, helped me resize my new camping backpack to the perfect comfort and helped us select the perfect tent, made sure we got the best deals and very quick checkout including signing up for the Go Outdoors membership

After a last minute order cancellation from another store we managed to get in touch with the Birkenhead store where Chris went through our order and reassured us he had most items in stock. On visiting the store Chris could not have been more helpful. He shared a range of knowledge with helpful tips and advice as well as giving us a range of options with ordered items. We would not hesitate to recommend this store and their staff.

Chris was wonderful - very patient, helpful and knowledgeable. He never rushed or pushed us, allowing us to come to a decision in our own time, after trying on several pairs of walking shoes.
The shoes have proven excellent in fit and comfort and crucially for rectifying walking posture.

Thank you to the staff. I have been to the shop a few times recently and received help and advice. I was shown how certain equipment works and was able to try clothing on. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to Chris, Adam, Hannah, Sam and Mimi.

I was wanting to reproof a coat but had no real clue about how to go about this or what I would need. I was served by Chris who took time to explain everything very clearly & thoroughly. I followed his instructions and felt very happy. I haven't worn the coat yet but if the products have worked well, Birkenhead Express will be the 1st place I go to when it needs reproofing again. Excellent customer service.

Chris was excellent and his customer service was outstanding. His advice and guidance in selecting the right walking shoes was spot on.
Nothing was too much trouble and he has a very relaxed but professional manner.
Mimi was also very good and put me at ease while Chris was upstairs looking for something for me.

Jack & Chris were really friendly and helpful, couldn't have done any more if they tried. Lovely store, well stocked and always clean and tidy.

Shop has quite good prices with a membership and really helpful and nice workers. Chris helped me to choose a sleeping bag when I was completely confused about it. He spent time listening to my requests and trying to find a suitable sleeping bag for me. All this time he was friendly and professional. Would consider buying again if I need any camping equipment again.

Adam was very helpful, quick and had good knowledge

The team in the Birkenhead store are a credit to the company. Jack was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble, even though he was very busy and multi tasking! He was very knowledgeable about the products, asking questions to ensure we got what we needed.

We were served and assisted by Chris today. His knowledge on D of E, what we needed and what was better suited to my son was great.
We didn't really have an idea on what we needed and we would have been lost without his help.
He even got a full conversation out of my 14 yr would son. Amazing!

My son is going to Norway with school for 11 days so I came in with a BIG list.
Adam went around the store with me showing me exactly what was what and even gave us demonstrations on how to use the equipment.
It made what i thought was going to be a daunting shopping experience easy and enjoyable.

Shopped in store today, was served by Adam & he was very helpful & was informative about the products in the store. Adam also helped solve an issue with my membership.
Go Outdoors has a good selection of clothing & has some very good offers.

Went in to get some things for my son's DoE bronze.
Chris was extremely helpful and had very good advice.

Super helpful staff. Great customer service. Found everything I needed for my trip.
