Visited this store recently to see if there was a book on walks that would be helpful to us. We found one and also received very good service from both Toby and James who explained about the membership and we signed up.

Recently when my son was walking in the Derbyshire area he lost his bunch of keys. On his keys was his Go Outdoors members card.
Now they'd not specifically been in Bakewell but his bunch of keys eventually found their way to the Go Outdoors Express shop and my son was then contacted and the keys safely stored at the shop until we were in the area to collect them.
Not too sure but the finder might have been an employee, either way a very nice result - thanks to the staff at the shop.

We visited the Bakewell store and the help and service we received from Toby and James was excellent. A full explanation of the membership scheme was very helpful

Best lads in the business. Prepping for a cycle ride and my waterbottle had a massive crack in the bottom (not gonna happen). Stopped in, just before taking off, new bottle and they even put water in it for me. Top notch customer service

We were served by Roger when we visited. He was so good in helping us sign up for the membership. He really went the extra mile and showed us how to put and down the popup tent we had just bought. Excellent customer service, would definitely recommend. Very friendly and helpful staff. Big bonus is they let dogs in!

I went to exchange a pair of boots that were faulty even though I did not buy them from this store. And Roger the sales assistant was very helpful and he exchanged them without any problems

Visited Bakewell branch for new walking boots for my partner. Served by Roger. Very patient and helped her to find the right fit. Not at all pushy and engaged nicely with us, good bit of banter.
