ShopGoodwill.com ships broken stuff
I been buying items thru shopGoodwill.com auctions for a year and have bought at least 40 items. Sometimes something gets broken in shipment as they send it to me and most Goodwill locations will refund me what I paid or some appropriate amount. BUT the Goodwill-Easter Seals MN did not and will not. I bought two large pieces of China and one of those arrived with the lid structurally cracked almost all the way across. That did not show in their advertisement nor was it stated. I contacted them several times and showed them their own advertisement and a photo of the way I received the item broken. And they basically said too bad we're not doing anything. So I have discontinued all further actions with shopGoodwill.com. There is no central organization monitoring this site. So if a location can simply decide not to honor my purchase then how can I be sure that after I pay them I'll even get the object or get it unbroken. Do not buy from shopgoodwill.com because you have no recourse if something is broken when it arrives and the location like the one in Minnesota decides to take your money but not replace the item or refund your money.
