Something I can really call “service”. S. id was the second representative I’ve…

Sid was the second representative I’ve dealt with at GS in the recent past. Sid, and my other encounter were so exemplary I had to say something. As a septuagenarian “blue-collar” guy I’m constantly at the mercy of customer service wait times lost in “not logical” to-me menus, selections and transfers that leave me exasperated. Sid and this “service” reflect the ethos of “helping-others” I sensed in Mike Maloney, the very thing that drew me to use Gold Silver when I first encountered “Hidden Secrets” and his other books and talks. This new website is the worst thing…

This new website is the worst thing you may have done, for the following reasons:

1. Enormous load times, because of a "modern" framework, the site is built with; this will bite you again later, when you start rolling out site updates, plus the modern framework will force you to redesign major portions with each new framework version; you will be playing catch up in perpetuity;

2. Design, showing very little useful information on the screen;

3. Absence of old, still helpful blog articles;

4. Only a few products on the page, in case of purchasing metals;

5. Poor navigation bar and options on the bar.

I urge you to revert to the previous design, or if reversal is impossible, because of internal conflicts with it, borrow as much as possible from the old design patching the holes in the new one.

Some of your concerns are a bit broad, so it's been a little difficult to pinpoint exactly what’s causing the frustration in your experience. That said, we’re actively working on performance improvements, the current product list has not changed, we have always archived content and blog articles throughout the years to make room for new but can certainly gather a specific article manually for you. Navigation and design refinements are forever ongoing based on user input like yours.

Bounced Check

Sold the silver I had, it took them 7 days to send a check which is ridiculous in 2025. Cash the check and it bounced. This company has had nothing but shit customer service since the beginning and this is more proof of their incompetence. Mike Maloney education is awesome but his Silver company is straight trash.

We're truly sorry for the frustration this caused. The check issue was due to a very rare bank error with mismatched check numbers — not a lack of funds. As soon as we were made aware, we reached out to the account owner with both a voicemail and email to resolve it.

Jenelle in customer support -outstanding lady !

Jenelle helped me to update my details at Gold and Silver as well as explaining a number of things that I didn’t fully understand including creating a Roth IRA. She very patiently took me through everything I needed for over half an hour -she was so helpful,very pleasant and if I could rate her over 5 stars, I would-she is an absolute gem and ask you to please share this with Mike directly-she is a tribute to your Company-thank you. website unhelpful despite revamp. Slow service.

a) website revamp has been a disaster; after logging into it, the ONLY thing one sees bullion sales offers. No links to Support or other services.
b) It's Hell trying to find the link to customer support.
c) Getting funds sent to me after selling bullion back to GS takes forever.

Regarding payout delays, we know speed matters which is why we offer bank wire instead of check option. Know that we're actively working to speed this up.

Reliable.…

I was certain I wish to owe physical precious metals. On how I was not.
Followed the youtube content and decided to buy from them and have it stored in their vault.
I ended up selling my investments on a profit and found the process intuitive and trustworthy. Their customer support is very fast and on point.
If you’re on the fence, go for it.

Completing the 3-minute verification unlocks features like vault storage, discounts, mail-in, and prepayment options. If you see that your account is "DELIVERY ONLY," we allow you to purchase for delivery without verification.

New system denies access to account, to holdings, & has invasive validation requirements

Disastrous new system requires too much verification, I cannot meet all of it because of my situation and therefore I am denied access to my silver which is in their vault. I'm enraged by what has been forced on us without sufficient warning to allow us to get what we own out of their vault!

I've had an account since 2020 and been happy enough until today (11/16). Today they launched their new system and have forced all of us into it. We do not have access to our accounts until we comply with all of their new invasive requirements. I have had to jump through hoops to provide information that was already in their old system, but that wasn't enough. I was also forced to connect my bank account and give them permission to withdraw money, when I have no intention of every buying from them again after what they have done. I was forced to agree to their terms under duress in order to have access to my account. My silver which I paid for is in their vault, and right now I am being denied access to it, because they are demanding even more for verification (which they don't tell you up front). Because of my unique situation I cannot supply them with all the documents they are demanding. They are forcing me under duress to do things that I don't agree with in order to get something that I paid for. That's just wrong.

It seems that the company may be now under new management. Mike Maloney's name is not on the emails that are coming through now which are gaslighting us about how this new system is so wonderful. While this company had an excellent reputation in the past, something has changed. My advice is to steer clear of them. I now have zero trust for this company and hope that I can get the silver I bought from them and paid years of vault fees on out of their clutches soon. There are other good precious metal sellers out there, just be careful there are plenty of scammers too.

The copy and paste reply to this review from GoldSilver is just trying to do damage control by gaslighting. Their new system now takes 4 steps to login... 1. enter email, 2. complete captcha, 3. enter password, 4. wait for the email with code that you have to enter. The old system you put in your username and password on one screen and you were in. So many hoops to jump through to get your holdings sent to you, or to sell it and they don't let you know everything you need to supply them with to 'verify' up front. I sold some silver, they held onto the money for days. Then when it didn't turn up in my connected bank account I went in looking and found out that I have to connect to the bank again to withdraw. Then with no message to me, they said I had to send a voided check or bank statement. That should be private information, but no, they want to see my financial information. I supplied them with everything and they said I had to wait 48 hours to be approved... still waiting. But in order to sign up for their new system, which you are forced to do if you want to get access to your holdings or even see what you have got, you have to connect your bank account before you even get into the system and give them permission to deduct money from your account. So they make it easy for them to take money from you, you must give them permission to do so and you must connect your bank before getting access to your account, even if you intend to never buy anything from them again - which is the case for me after what I have just gone through with them. There are plenty of people selling gold and silver, easier to deal with and with better prices.
Update 11/29: further problems - they have approved my withdrawal account, sent me an email and I now have the option of withdrawal method. But when I try to withdraw it says my account is pending, even though the email said it was approved. So I still can't withdraw. And what they don't tell you until you are in that withdrawal dialog box is that they have a $25 fee for ACH wire transfer. I have now been trying to get what I own for 13 days now. Support said it would be available 12/2. They make it so quick and easy for you to pay them, and make you give them permission to withdraw your money in order to set up an account, but they sure drag their feet and charge you extra to get what you own back from them.

You still have full access to your account and the metals in it. Here are the main changes:

Before: Manual paperwork and physical signatures were required for all sell transactions, deliveries, pickups etc. We felt as though this was pretty old school.

Now: After a single verification, you can smoothly perform all of these actions with just a click.

We would be pleased to discuss any preferences you may have, including the option of reverting to the manual version. Please feel free to reach out to us at your convenience to speak with a manager.

GoldSilver.COM just revamped their…

GoldSilver.COM just revamped their website and the billed it as the second coming. Frankly, it strikes me as an abomination. I have purchased many times from GS and thus far have had no complaints. Business was simple, buy, ship, and arrive. All of my purchases were tracked on their "investments" page and life was good. Since the change that page and its valuations are gone with no migration to the new website. I had many conversations with their support people to no avail. I asked that they send me a spreadsheet with that information and they made every excuse in the book to not comply. So now I'm left with huddling in the corner and tallying my holdings and doing my own spreadsheet. I'll have to correlate those purchases to their purchase date to get a relative cost to determine portfolio gains. What a pain. So unless you're going to use GS storage services I'd steer clear. I'm so disappointed.
