on existing boat decided to install a second antenna rather than relying on splitter for AIS and VHF. The technical specs provided enabled me to select an antenna that worked well for the VHF, improving in particular the radio reception. The process for identifying the appropriate, not to say the best antennas for a new boat is also promising. When appropriate even went to Glomex's pro selection. Again, the catalogue enabled me to identify the equipment, cables and connectors to enable a simple and clean installation without soldering or other troubles. So my experience positive from antenna to connector selection, installation and use. To be recommended.

They sell safety equipment dated more than 6 years of construction (safety equipment for boats should have maximum 3 years - at limit, 5 years) and they don't even answer emails (contacted them 5/February, today is 11/April and still no answer). Run away from these brand. Market is plenty of trustful competition on their market.

Quite simply the worst designed, poorly made, most complicated installation you can find on the planet. Under no circumstances should you buy one of these totally useless wi-fi antennas. You will waste hours of your life trying to decipher the most irritating and confusing instructions ever conceived before giving up (as I have finally) and throwing the thing overboard. I implore you not to waste your time or money on such a worthless piece of crap.

I have just installed a "weBBoat 4G Lite EVO" from Glomex which I thought was a serious quality brand, but here I was wrong, it does not work as you would expect.
The Problem: I have a SIM card from my internet provider which delivers 40/40 Mbit.
• On the LAN port in weBBoat I can get, 40/40 Mbit.
• On WiFi, from weBBoat I can get, 4/1 Mbit, on a good day 6-10 / 2-4 Mbit.
• And if there are several user on WiFi at the same time, then they have to share that low speed.
The whole idea with the Glomes Webboat router is just to put power on it, and then there is internet for the whole boat.
I wrote to their support about the problem, they could not understand that it could not deliver 40/40 Mbit. on WiFi too, but after many many tests and trials for Glomex and 50 E-mail later, then suddenly an email came from them, that it should not be able to deliver a greater speed on WiFi, it worked as it should… ..
If I have to use WiFi, they recommend that I buy a Pro version for approx. 1600 €
They do not want to swap or look at it, they also have a "weBBoat 4G Lite High Speed" it is the same problem with it.
I have written to them many times, to get them to refer for me, where it is explained in the specifications or on their website, but they will not respond on that.
It is not possible to return my Glomex Webboat, as Glomex says it works as it should!
This Glomex product does not work, it's a waste off 700 €.
