I have used Gibbs Gillespie as my full service Managing Agent for several years now. We recently transferred from the Uxbridge Office to Jo Brooker in the Camberley Office. The transition was smooth and simple and Jo has done a great job in coordinating contractors and keeping us and our tenants informed.

It was never going to be an easy sale as the property was going on the market as a probate property. As none of us live close by, we approached several estate agents for evaluation and advice, but settled on Gibbs Gillespie after an impressive conversation held with Nick Walker, who offered sound advice and an outstanding knowledge of the housing market in the area. In addition he was approachable and we felt that he was someone we could have rapport with.
The property sold relatively quickly but we still had to navigate our way through the probate pathway, which proved to be exceedingly difficult.
during the 18 months it took for this process to be achieved, Nick was always on hand with advice and updating us on the buyers thoughts. When the water was muddied by the length of time taken gaining probate, he was calm and reassuring.
We are delighted say that the sale finally went through this month, with our original buyer!
This is testament to the patience and integrity of Nick, and we would have no hesitation in recommending him personally (or indeed Gibson Gillespie) especially if you have a difficult sale, or even one more straightforward!!

I am very disappointed with my experience with Gibbs Gillespie.

Following the end of my tenancy, there was a significant and unnecessary delay in returning my deposit. Despite multiple follow-ups, communication was slow and caused avoidable inconvenience.

Additionally, there were attempts to attribute various issues to me that were not my responsibility, which felt unjustified and appeared to be an effort to make unwarranted deductions.

Overall, this experience was frustrating, and I would advise others to proceed with caution.

My experience with Gibbs Gillespie has been largely good. Their estimated rent was good and they achieved it for me in reasonable time with good tenants. Even when I developed cold feet, Claire assured me and ensured that the objectives are achieved in full All this was done for a competitive fee as well. Due to the nature of my tenant (insurance company paid rent), there were a couple of delay in communication which could have been averted which is more of a learning point for Gibbs rather than a complaint. I look forward to a long relationship with Gibbs. Highly recommend.

It was George Callaghan's phone call to me that persuaded me to go with yourselves. He was very helpful and clear.

He has always been super helpful and tenacious; and happy to go above and beyond in order to help out a client.

He gave a clear and well thought through explanation of the valuation with supporting data.
Brochure and pictures were turned around quickly and to a high quality
We achieved 15+ viewings and slightly over asking on the first day of viewings and were happy with the lady that showed people around - very personable.
We had a tricky situation with the long chain and our buyer but this was managed well and calmly by George and Kate to reach exchange (when it could easily have collapsed)
Communication and responsiveness was very good and we had good access to the team.

This is only the 2nd ever review that I have ever left, but Gibbs Gillespie are so deserving that I had to make the effort!

I had been trying to sell my house in Rickmansworth on and off for the last five years or so, we would have it on with various local Estate Agents as well as Purple Bricks and for one reason or another it would not sell. So we ended up in a painful circle of attempting to sell it and then giving up and trying again with an alternative estate agent every year or so. It was a lovely house but there were things about it that some viewers saw as a negative and it put buyers off. Danny and Philip were especially excellent at turning those negatives into real positives and managed to get me an offer of the asking price within one week and my wife and I were over the moon.

Danny and Philip did everything they said they would do and were so professional, Danny was especially helpful with the process after the offer had been accepted and acted as an excellent go between for us and the buyers, I felt i was in safe hands every step of the way.

We are renting at the moment , but when the time comes to buy again we are hoping that the house we will want will be marketed by GG as I now have the confidence in them that the buying process will be as smooth as the selling.

I have been meaning to pop in and say thanks personally but but being especially busy has got in the way.

I will make an effort sometime between now and Xmas to pop in and say thanks to all of those that were so helpful throughout the process.
