These guys are the best. I would highly recommend them if you need anything moved that’s large, heavy and delicate.

They have an array of lifting machines which are fit for any heavy lifting job.

They took so much care of my stuff including wrapping the items in multiple layers of black protective wrapping and blankets. A+++

Sam was extremely prompt, clear and helpful in all of his communication. The two-man removal was efficient and stress-free. Giant Removals came highly recommended by a friend for 3 house moves over 15 years, and I have no hesitation in passing on the recommendation.

They had a very difficult job removing a safe from 6 flights of stairs! And they did it perfectly!!

I am very happy with the service provided by the removal team. They arrived on time, were very friendly and professional, and clearly knew what they were doing. They efficiently packed and moved my belongings from NW6 to SW6, a one-bedroom apartment. It took them six hours to pack 10 boxes and move everything from the ground floor to the second floor using the lift. They also helped reassemble the furniture at the new place. I highly recommend their services for their professionalism and dedication.

I decided to hire this company based on their high ranking. Now I wonder how many of the comments are genuine.
On the form they asked me how many hours I would need. First red flag. How could I know? I estimated 3 hours for a 1 bedroom flat on a first floor to a flat on a second floor, no lifts.
They not just asked me to watch the van because they had "very expensive equipment", they said, but they didn't start until I went downstairs. The first man begged me. "It's for your stuff too, you know". Second red flag. I couldn't finish with what I was doing and couldn't give them any indication.
Same thing when we arrived to the new flat. The unloading took 2 hours, that I spent standing.
At some point they came down with their tools, ready to go, when the second man realised that there were like 10 boxes on the van, left by the first man. I don't speak Polish but he wasn't happy. And only him, not both, carried the boxes upstairs. With that were, coincidentally, 5 hours.
I complained because they took almost twice as long and because I was tired after 2 hours standing and other 3 waiting. And the first man said that I was making him upset because I said 3 hours, not them. Again, you're the expert. You should estimate. But they never warned me that it could take longer.
I had to pay them and my phone was dead. I had to find a charger. So he had all the time in the world to keep complaining.
He said that they worked like horses for me. Excuse me, that's what you do for living. You're not doing me any favour.
He also said that they hadn't even had lunch. My appointment was at 3pm. How's that my fault?
He also complained that I didn't offer a glass of water. I was moving out. I didn't have a glass even for me. And should I do it from the pavement?
He also accused me of not saying that it was from a first floor to a second floor, which I said.
Finally, after all the crying, he changed the price. When I hired them the price was £80/h, but now he decided it was £84. I was alone, at that point I was afraid, so I preferred to pay them and let them leave.
But that's not the end.
When I was doing the transfer my bank couldn't find their company, so the first man shared his personal account. After a while they came back and the first man said he didn't get the payment. He saw my screen with the confirmation, even before leaving. But, instead of waiting or contacting his bank, he treated me like a scammer.
Five minutes later he received the payment, but didn't apologised.
And, finally, they reassembled my table incorrectly. It's unstable and it can't be expanded.
I had absolutely no control. I had no idea of what they did. Now I wonder if the whole "watch the van" thing isn't a tactic to manage the time as they want and take advantage of customers.
Awful experience.

UPDATE:
They offered me a generous refund to delete the review. Now I understand why they have a high rating.
Since I didn't respond, they checked my profile and try to make see as a problematic customer. Those reviews are genuine. My objective with them is to warn other customers about really bad companies or products. That's why I didn't take the refund.
With this behaviour they only show I'm right.

I want to give a huge thanks to Giant Removals for helping us with an emergency move after a last-minute issue with our landlord. Sam and his team were incredibly supportive, efficient, and polite throughout the whole process. They cleared our entire 3-bedroom maisonette quickly and carefully, making sure all of our belongings were handled with great care.

Their hard work really helped to take a huge amount of stress off my family and me, and we’re truly grateful for their service. We were so impressed that we made sure to tip the whole team.

One thing to note: if you’re trying to contact Giant Removals and don’t get through right away, don’t worry as the team mentioned, they usually start their working day from 10 am onwards.

I had a very heavy object (140kg) that needed moving down steps at the side of my house to the patio at the back. Difficult and dangerous to do with friends, but for Sam and team, and his amazing machine, quite straight forward. They're very professional and communicative and got the job done quickly, including moving and re-moving furniture in the patio so the object could be put in the right place.

Sam and the team are incredibly professional and knowledgeable on the best way to move heavy items. They take care, and make sure fragile items are transported safely to their destination. They moved a 140kg pottery kiln for us, a huge item, and used a very impressive stair robot on caterpillar tracks to effortless move it down 2 flights of stairs. It was very impressive. Plus they are the friendliest and nice guys ever. They also do removals and they have all the packing materials to protect all your items. Everything is packed safely in the van and secured with straps. No stuffing in. Perfect job and will use again next time. Thank you! 🙏

Incredible service, throughly recommended! We had a packing service on day 1, followed by moving house on day 2. The Giant team were efficient and pragmatic throughout. They were also extremely considerate of our possessions, including many fragile houseplants and decorative items. Moving house on the day you complete as part of a chain is not always simple, but the Giant team adapted to any problems with calm professionalism (broken lifts, delays getting keys to new house, specific requirements around box/furniture placement to allow renovation works). They made a stressful experience far less stressful, and were such a nice bunch to spend time with - almost worth moving house again just to hang out more! Thanks again Giant team for helping my family into our new home.

These guys were absolutely fantastic. We hired them to move a very heavy cabinet. They arrived on the day on time and discussed each step of the move with us. This was a difficult move because steps and tight spaces were involved but even with all of this and despite it been a very hot day the move went without a hitch. We hired Giants services for a move recently and were very pleased with the service. They were promptly on time and communicated very well during the booking. On the day of, they did a great job getting our heavy furniture disassembled and then reassembled in the new flat.
