Many thanks for your feedback, it's much appreciated.

To respond to your comments:
1) Our initial target market is 17-35 year old people, and thus our launch providers reflect this. Over the coming weeks we will quickly grow the number of insurers and brokers on the platform to ensure we competitively serve all consumers regardless of age, vehicle, convictions, claims and so on. We are extremely confident that once we have broadened the number of market participants, the needs of your specific demographic will be well catered for.

2) The list of occupations within the app is an industry standard list which you'll find on all other Price Comparison Websites and insurers/brokers websites. As such there is unfortunately nothing that we are able to do here as we are adhering to industry standards.

3) The driving licence number is not a compulsory field but having it does help insurers to provide more competitive prices as they can be more confident that there is no fraudulent activity at play. In our Android and iOS apps we have licence scanning functionality to help with this data capture, it's also currently being developed for web too.

4) It appears that you've uncovered a bug linked to our deactivate user functionality, we'll fix this as a priority. Meanwhile as you've also go in touch directly we've completed the deletion of your data immediately. This complies with the GDPR "right to be forgotten" which has 1 month response requirement.

5) As per point 1, as our initial target market is 17-35 year old people our consumer facing language is written to resonate best with people in this age range. In time we will amend it to better suit the people we are attempting to attract to the platform.

Many thanks for taking the time to provide your feedback, it's much appreciated.
To respond to your points specifically:
1) I'm sorry to hear that the Licence scanning functionality misread your information, if you're willing to get in touch with us on contact@gethoncho.com I'd like to investigate this further with you so that we can fix any issue which may be present. During testing we did not come across any problems but I absolutely want to fix any bugs.
2) The date picker is the standard Android calendar and we chose this because our research suggested this was the best option because Android users would be most familiar with it. If, however, this need to be altered because it's causing confusion, we will introduce a change to improve it.
In the meantime you'll be able to navigate to the year you require by tapping on the year on the calendar itself and then cycling through to pick the one you need.
Hopefully this helps and we'd love for you to have a another go!

Many thanks for your comments and feedback, which are much appreciated.
To respond to your observations: we’ve designed our journey to be more user friendly and quicker than those on Price Comparison Websites by offering functionality such as scanning your driving licence to help reduce the time taken to get bids. We’ve also reduced the question set to the minimum possible whilst still ensuring that insurance providers have sufficient data to be able to generate prices.

Dear customer,

Thanks for your review and feedback, I’m sorry for your experience of not getting any bids.

We currently have a bug in our Android app which, if you’re using, will be the reason you’ve received no bids. We have fixed it and are completing the final bits of testing before hopefully deploying it to the Play Store today.
