What am I paying their high fees for???
I've been leasing equipment for 8 years with Fat Llama now Hygglo, before that Wedio which this company acquired. WORST EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE.
Clients that contact me have zero profile info yet I hear the verification takes ages. For photo or video production, things are often needed last minute.
HOW CAN THIS COMPANY OPERATE WITH ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR CONTACT??! YET THEY CHARGE OVER 20% EACH TO THE LENDER AND THE RENTER. FOR WHAT???
**RE: Gearbooker reply. Absolute LIE about responding to me. NOBODY has contacted me ONCE - no email, no chat, NOTHING. This tells you everything - not only do they offer zero customer service or communication, they LIE about doing so on a public review site. STILL waiting 4 days for ANY response from gearbooker...

Verifications are usually done within a few hours or the same business day, but in some cases it takes a bit more time due to additional information being requested from the user to be verified, we hope you understand that we do this to be able to offer maximum safety and trust for all users of our platform.

Trustworthy
Gearbooker is an easy platform for renting out gear. They have some safety policies to make sure every rental will be safe and comes with an insurance which makes it very trustworthy!

Gearbooker is een geweldig platform om apparatuur te huren. Op voorhand zijn ze heel voorzichtig door velen ID checks, om beiden gebruikers te beschermen. Maar ik heb daarna met veel plezier gebruik kunnen maken van het platform! 🙏🏻

Hatte eine tolle Erfahrung beim verleihen, hat gut geklappt. Kann noch nicht sagen, was passiert wenn es mal Probleme gibt - bisher gibt es aber nichts zu meckern!

Très bien dans l'ensemble
Plateforme sécurisé, mais justement trop sécurisé et surtout très brouillonne dans ses accompagnement de pourquoi le profil n'est pas validé.
Le dépôt d'annonce est parfait, les moyens d'échanges avec le locataire idem.
Mais alors qu'elle galère quand il s'agit de "vérifier" sont compte pour toucher les fruits de la location.
Un menu à revoir et des boites de dialogues plus claire et fluide seraient à concevoir.
Quand à la possibilité de prendre contact avec un service client, a part un chabot totalement dépassé aucun moyens de contact.
En résumé, une plateforme qui fait parfaitement le travail sur la mise en relation et la gestion locative; mais une interface à revoir sur le parcours client et sa satisfaction globale.

Gearbooker is a great service for filmmakers. I was able to rent gear for a production at less than half the normal rental rate. The filmmaker also gave me som great advice and additional gear for the shoot.
