Andrew arrived on time and willingly wore a mask at my request as I’m immunocompromised. He serviced the boiler, checked the flue and confirmed my gas central heating system is working well.

I have been a customer of Gas-Fix since they made a major update of my heating system in September 2021 and subsequently have been the sole provider of maintenance coverage. I have always been impressed with the quality of their work, the professionalism of their employees at all levels, and their friendly, prompt, and courteous service. This was reinforced recently when my hot water system failed. Several visits followed, all at short intervals, diagnosing, obtaining, fitting, and testing a new zone controller to restore the hot water supply. In addition, the engineer suggested I could improve the efficiency of my heating system by modifying how I operated the various temperature and zone controllers. Upon my approval, he then demonstrated the process required. Needless to say, I now adhere to the process. That is service above the norm.

They are very friendly and helpful. They get everything done and are clean and tidy. I would recomend them.

Having been a customer of Gas-Fix for the past 9 years, they have always provided a service than cannot be faulted. Any problems that occurred with the boiler have been fixed within a day’s notice of any problem, including parts that needed to be replaced.
When discussing the last service on the boiler which was installed 15 years ago, it made sense that it was coming to the end of its life and would need replacing at some point in the near future.
Ian, a director of Gas-Fix, suggested a high quality boiler that he would recommend and also provided a detailed cost of the installation and a new forward service plan. Upon comparing the quote with other competitors, Gas-Fix came out ahead by far.
A date for the replacement was agreed, and installed on the day. Considering the amount of work involved, Darryl worked non stop and completed the installation within the day. Before leaving the house, he took the trouble to make sure the house was clean and in the same condition that it was before he started.
I can honestly say, that Gas-Fix is a well run company, from the bosses, engineers, and office staff, and highly recommend them to any household that uses gas appliances in the home.
