I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience.
I was charged £4.99 to have an item delivered to a store, which is already unusual as most retailers offer free click and collect. To make matters worse, when I needed to return the item, I was told it could not be returned to the store and instead had to be sent back via the post office. This meant paying an additional £4.99 for return postage and packaging.
In total, I have paid nearly £10 simply to order and return an item I did not keep.
This is completely unreasonable and not in line with standard retail practice. At no point did this feel convenient or customer-friendly, and had this been made clearer upfront, I would not have placed the order.
I would appreciate this being reviewed and the charges reconsidered, as this experience has left me very reluctant to shop with you again.

Purchased WWE2K24 for PS5 on a Sunday (for my son’s birthday) without realising he already had it. Took it back to Game in Llantrisant Sports Direct the very next day, still sealed, and asked for a refund. Was told by the unctuous, arrogant, narcissistic, insipid store manager (who was serving) that it was impossible to return my money and I must take store credit, which I did not want because I rarely shop at Game. Gave the odious little fellow a few choice words about his ‘Jobsworth’ approach and informed him that I would take the product back to a different Game store, where someone with a more practical and reasonable attitude would inevitably refund my money without question, which is exactly what happened. However, I am extremely unlikely to shop at Game ever again given your pathetic official policy of not routinely offering a full refund for sealed items which are returned within 14 days, which gives odious little men with Napoleon complexes (like your fellow at Game in Llantrisant) the opportunity to cause needless (and pointless) upheaval over something that can easily be refunded and re-sold with absolutely no problem whatsoever. It’s a pathetic and punitive policy, which should immediately be modified to correspond with your online returns policy for unused and sealed items, which can be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. There is absolutely no reason for such a large company to differentiate between the two forms of purchase. Argos don’t differentiate, along with many others. I’ll reserve my custom for other stores which operate a fair and sensible returns policy. Yours faithfully, unsatisfied customer.
