Fripps Farm Animal Rescue, operated by Jodie Marsh, has faced multiple allegations of animal neglect and mistreatment. In response to these allegations, Jodie Marsh and her team have defended their practices. They argue that many of the accusations stem from misunderstandings or are propagated by individuals with personal vendettas. Supporters of Fripps Farm have provided testimonials praising the dedication and care provided to the animals, emphasizing the farm’s commitment to animal welfare. For instance, in official statements submitted to local authorities, volunteers and visitors have described the sanctuary as a well-organised and secure environment where animals are loved and properly cared for.

Despite these defenses, the controversy surrounding Fripps Farm has led to increased scrutiny from both the public and regulatory bodies. The ongoing debate highlights the challenges animal rescue organisations face in maintaining transparency and trust within their communities.

3 acres and 600 animals!!! 26 equines alone would be need at least 25 acres but all these 26 equines have is about 1.5 acres…. Which is now pure knee deep sludge!

The RSPCA need a warrant and to be able to go in and shut this woman down. No real animal knowledge (especially wildlife) no respect that wild animals deserve their FREEDOM, animals kept it absolute squalor and denied essential veterinary care - how long will this be allowed to continue? These animals aren’t in a good forever home, it’s certainly no sanctuary it’s a muddy dirty hell where their basic needs aren't being met. Cuddling wild animals and turning them into pets - no interest in the animals welfare - selfish woman out to exploit animals for money. Shut her down for gods sake - and shame on you Jodie! You’ve ignored advice from experienced wildlife rehabbers and are making an utter fool of yourself hashing your way through it yourself. Cannot wait to see you shut down.

Absolutely shocking hoarding situation,how some of the poor animals can walk in their enclosures when they’re wading in a sea of sewage and mud I’ll never know.the wolf hybrids have no stimulation so are constantly pacing up and down,usually see in poor zoo conditions.the rspca have tried to get in only to be turned away by Jodie,if she’s got nothing to hide and the animals are well looked after why refuse them entry?if they say the animals are well looked after surely she would like their endorsement in order to silence her thousands of critics?I’ve seen the video footage on utube from the drone capturing just how bad conditions are there,plus the photos and videos on her own page,I’m struggling to understand how anyone can condone this absolute mess and think this is the correct way to keep any animals

What an absolute shambles, how is this women allowed to carry on. Overcrowded, Poached fields, poor pigs up to their bellies in wet mud. Animals look defeated and depressed 😔 it's too sad for words. She's a hoarder not a champion rescuer 😡😡😡

Absolutely horrendous , what a terrible place . With any luck this will be closed down soon hundreds of animals hoarded (not a rescue in. The slightest) on nothing more then a large garden of mud and swamp . Have a search of fripps farce on facebook to get a true representation of this place. Cannot understand how this is allowed to continue .

animals living in awful conditions. No grazing, unwell animals going days without seeing a vets. Animals with out water, shelter. Taking thousands in donations to improve the farm from the public yet not showing the improvement or even showing the animals. Complete lack of knowledge and professionalism

I used to support Fripps, I've seen various videos so questioned it on a post and was blocked instantly.

Lack of hard standing space for the animals. Confined to tiny winter paddocks for the most of the day. Inappropriate space : animals - many animals have died or disappeared. Where’s the baby meerkat from the living room gone?

This is personal animal hoarding being disguised as a rescue sanctuary in order to extort money out of well-meaning animal lovers! The animals are being kept in abhorrent conditions, being subjected to high risk of injury & death in her "care". There is a serious lack of awareness & knowledge of most of the animals, the majority have been purchased, she allows them to breed and when she gets bored of them, they either get hoofed out into unsanitary and unsuitable housing, or even just released to fend for themselves.
She is a deeply traumatised person with a fixation on s*#ual abuse, who seeks validation from animals and "fans".

I am appalled by what I’ve seen and learned about Fripps Farm. While the farm claims to be a sanctuary for animals, recent video footage from citizen journalists paints a horrifying picture of neglect, aggression, and deeply disturbing abuse. The aggressive treatment of animals captured on these videos is shocking and utterly unacceptable, raising serious concerns about the true welfare of the animals supposedly “rescued” by this organisation.

The reports of inappropriate handling, such as taking a baby meerkat and an owl to a pub, were already troubling. But these new videos highlight a pattern of behaviour that goes far beyond poor judgement—this is clear evidence of systemic neglect and mistreatment. Furthermore, the council’s refusal to issue a licence to keep exotic animals, coupled with incidents of animals escaping, only underscores the dangerous and chaotic nature of this operation.

The fact that this sanctuary is still open despite these issues is deeply concerning. It is clear that the management does not prioritise the well-being of the animals in its care. I urge everyone to watch the footage, do their research, and hold Fripps Farm accountable. Animals deserve genuine care and protection—not exploitation and abuse.

Avoid this place at all costs and spread the word until real change is made. This is not a sanctuary; it’s a disgrace.

Well conditions here are just disgusting, why she hasn't been shut down we will never know. She has too many animals and not enough space or enough staff to care for them. She raises money as a business, yet operates as a charity. So many things need looking in to here.
The RSPCA need to visit, they have tried in the past but she refused them entry and filmed herself doing so, they need a warrant, I hope this happens soon for the sake of the animals.

Abhorrent conditions. Poor "management" and husbandry of all animals.
Over populated.
Equines lacking basic needs.
Rspca should put an immediate shut down in place and re home all these poor animals.
Little transparency with regards to where people's donations are ending up.

This lady means so well BUT she has no idea about how to rehabilitate animals back into the wild. Wild animals are not pets. Their very essence is to be wild. Yes, foxes will learn to tolerate petting because they learn that it means food. Please Jodie take advice from a proper rescue establishment. You are over stocked and under experienced for what you are trying to do. Anthropomorphic tendencies do not have good outcomes.

This place is neither wa farm nor a rescue. The animals are bought for or bred into this so called rescue. The way the animals are kept in muddy conditions concerns me. I know pigs are clean animals and they would hate all the mud. The horses hooves need attention before they start to rot. The amount of animals that have died is heartbreaking. This place needs closing down and soon!

I used to donate here regularly, but seeing how the animals are kept and how the owner responds to donators has made me cancel. Once looked into I saw that these poor animals are living in squalor and unsuitable conditions. There are over 350 animals in what is essentially a back garden. Animals has injuries, go missing and die without explanation. The owner abuses and threatens anyone who questions or asks about the animals whereabouts and welfare. This is meant to be a CIC, but is actually harming the community and making the neighbours lives uncomfortable with noise, smell and harassment from the owner.
These animals are used as nothing more than probs for social media and not given the right to live a normal, natural life. It is more like a prison than a rescue.
Owner is also buying and breeding animals. This place needs to be shut down and the animals rescued from this 'rescue'.

From everything I have read, heard, and seen this is not a rescue. It is one person's hoarding disorder and the knock on effect of that is suffering animals, neighbours and innocent donaters that don't understand what they have got themselves into. There are so many victims created by one person's actions. I wish there was more people could do to stop the madness. A rescue does not bread or purchase animals. And would never condone having over 700 animals on 3 acres of land.

Used to be a supporter of fripps farm but have felt massively let down by Jodie marsh’s lies. A rescue/ sanctuary does not breed its animals, does not imprint on healthy and releasable wildlife to keep locked up behind bars, does not fund the exotic pet trade. I was also very shocked to find out hundreds of animals including over 20 equines are actually living in her large back garden 3/4 acres and most of not all the animals are living in inadequate environments. I’ve also seen animals fed inappropriate diets, the hygiene at fripps is low with groups of rats just happily eating out of the animals food bowls whilst people are standing close by. The bullying and threats from the owner of fripps farm is just appalling, to see the way she talks about people is completely unprofessional and rude. I think there is no way forward as things have spiralled out of control
