substandard products and dreadful customer service. I returned the broken mat at my own cost and they now have my product AND my money. Not sure whether small claims court will work. Interesting they have a UK company but you have to return products to Germany. Loophole maybe.

No comms and no delviery 12 days after placing order. Wish I read the reviews prior to purchase.

No repsonse to email or telehpone comms.

Doesn't answer emails or the phone.

2 weeks after I ordered still hadn't received my item ZERO communication from the company and the order just shows as complete on the website. I had no idea when the item would arrive and the other reviews made me think the worst.

All the company had to do was add a tracking number to my order online or just email me back and I would know its in transit.

Cant recommend this company due to this. (have received order now but still not happy)

On 5th May 2021 I made an order with good faith to receive my expensive Dirt Trapper doormats (£60) within 3 - 4 working days, and have not to date received anything.

I have tried calling them everyday for the past week and just keep getting cut off every few minutes, even after persisting for over half an hour each time. I have emailed them several times but no answer whatsoever.

I must proportion some of the blame to myself as I didn't seek to check any reviews about the company before ordering. having done so now, I can see that their operation is a criminal scam...

I just have no idea how I could get my money back so am guessing that I have been completely ripped off!

That's my experience, please don't make it yours.

Truly awful in my opinion. On day 20 and still no order received. I asked for a tracking number which was never provided.

Edit- Over 30 days and they have said my order was lost but they have still not refunded me and have not replied to my last 2 emails.

Disappointed to have to make the points as other posts.

Had to chase up after 2 weeks/no response received from customer servs. Was eventually contacted by company after I raised an issue through PayPal & mat was sent. However, it only lasted about 3 weeks before it cracked.

Terrible....

The website appears fine and McAfee gives it a green flag. But I've made several attempts to contact the company and they have not responded to messages sent via their contact page, or to the email address given on their contact page and nobody ever answers the phone when I've called them. Accordingly, I won't place an order with them - as I can't have any faith in parting with my money to a company that doesn't respond or communicate. It's a pity, as the products themselves otherwise look good.

Scam company with terrible quality products and unhelpful staff.

Bought an office floor mat, that broke into pieces in a couple of weeks. Contacted their support. Was offered a refund of a few pounds. For a full refund would need to send the remaining bits of the mat to Germany. Very unhelpful and ignorant staff. Suggest you avoid the company at all cost.

Also, if you go on their website and try to rate/give feedback to any product, your comment will not be displayed. The company is displaying only positive comments that are most likely faked by them.

Avoid like the plague.

Mat took a couple weeks to turn up - I contacted them on email, immediately very responsive and reasonable. The mat turned up and was fine for a few weeks - however, it then started cracking up under regular use, and of course they then have ignored my emails and simply don't pick up their helpline.

It's clear from my experience and many others on trustpilot and other review sites that this company is consciously scamming its customers.

£70 down the drain from my point of view - I'll live. Hopefully this lot get a huge amount of job satisfaction.

Ordered 28/4 and still waiting. Have had a couple of emails saying they are looking into the delivery issue with the driver. Gave them until yesterday and advised would ask for a refund which I did yesterday. Awaiting a reply on that now!

Like a lot of people on here, I only realised after I'd ordered the mat that the company are based in Germany and they ship deliveries from there (couldn't find any such info on their website). My delivery took over a month to arrive. When I emailed the company their first reply was very friendly, they seemed surprised there was a problem. They sent me another email saying they couldn't track my order so had sent me a second shipment. When I asked for tracking numbers for both shipments they stopped all communication. I can see from the date on the label on the delivery that did eventually arrive that it was the "first" shipment. I'm guessing the "second" shipment never existed. What a dreadful company.

This is a rotten company with zero ethics or concern for their customers. The floor mat was terrible quality and cracked within a few weeks. The phone is never answered and emails ignored. I am seriously considering reporting them to trading standards as this sort of business shouldn't be trading outside of the law / consumer rights. Please please avoid buying from this business unless you can buy now and pay later which is unlikely.

I previously purchased two mats from this company without any problems. However, I recently ordered a bamboo chair mat which was received damaged. I contacted Floor Mats UK requesting a refund. Initially they offered a 16% refund and then upped this to 23% when I declined. They eventually sent me an address in Germany to return the mat to but said they would not cover the costs of this (despite being legally obliged to under the Consumer Rights Act). I pointed out their obligations and almost 3 weeks later have heard nothing further back. I have submitted a claim via PayPal. I’m unsure if this company has been taken over or I was just lucky before. Avoid!!!

Ordered a mat, never arrived. So frustrating. Ordered a mat and paid over £50 including delivery, still waiting over two weeks later.
Fraudsters dont bother to answer the phone. Happy to send bland emails though.
Should have checked here first.

I bought a top of the range floor mat chair-mat-carpet-pro from this website which claims to be UK. In fact it is a German company that operates behind a shell website in the UK.

You will not that it has amazing reviews on the website.

That aside the floor mat arrived in about 1-2 weeks and it was installed. It lasted about 2 days before starting to crack and fall apart. The quality is simply attrocious - really bad and the reviews on their website are fake. You simply cannot add a bad review. I have submitted twice and they never appear.
I asked for a refund and after much arguying - they agreed to refund me the £58 I paid if I shipped it back to them in Germany!. Photos wernt enough.
I paid about £15 for the cheapest shipping with DHL and off it went - getting as far as Netherlands before
being stopped by customs demanding extra payment.
The only credit I can give them is they did give me the refund when they saw I had paid the shipping.
I never paid the customs fees - so ultimately only lost out on the £15 shipping. Even still the process was a nightmare.
DO NOT Buy from this company as the product is awful and the reviews are fake!

Like others I assumed this was a UK company! After a few weeks they stopped replying to my emails as I was asking where my mat was, apparently another was sent and spent time at customs in Coventry airport of all places. I opened up a dispute with PayPal and it turned up. Not worth £40 but will in future investigate companies and not assume .co.uk means UK based. Guten tag to you all in Germany 🇩🇪

I ordered a door mat, waited and waited.. chased several times, was even told they had sent another as a replacement, this still didn't show up.. mat was coming from Germany.. not a Uk company as such.. ended up claiming refund via PayPal. I won't use this company again, wish I'd looked at reviews before parting with my money. Avoid...

I wanted a replacement for the worn-out mat we used to protect the carpet under our computer chair. The old one was bought 2nd hand at least 15 years ago, and the UK supplier which for a long time showed them as 'out of stock' has evidently discontinued all but PVC mats which we thought would not be strong enough. I was pleased to find a polycarbonate mat with a lip, like our old one, on the website of Floor Mats UK although £51.99 was more than I expected to pay - and the very good reviews all dated from pre-2020. There was also an additional charge of about £6 for insurance or some such (not P&P), which seemed a bit strange - and our firewall / virus protection kept flagging up that it had resolved an issue with the site, though when I explored this I couldn't get any details. I went ahead and ordered the mat as I'd been after one for a long time - but then got cold feet and looked them up on Trustpilot, when the terrible reviews made my blood run cold! I emailed the company straight away (on a Sunday) asking to cancel, but was somewhat reassured to get a reply early the next day explaining that this was not possible but that I could have a 15% discount because of the inconvenience. I replied saying that if the item turned up in the promised 7-10 days timescale without any surcharge by the delivery service and was suitable, I would keep it and would not need a discount. The floor mat arrived yesterday and is what I wanted - although having shorter spikes than the old one, it doesn't sink into the carpet quite so well so presents something of a slip hazard. Nevertheless I was very relieved that the order was fulfilled in reasonable time and without having to pay a surcharge as it had come from Germany.
