Absolutely fantastic place, really welcoming and have helped my little girl learn what she needs to know about a snake we are looking at getting. Was happy for the kids to help feed the snakes and really got the kids engaged with all the reptiles. Would happily go there every day to visit all the reptiles, fish and the lovely staff

I ordered a fish and within 2 days it arrived in perfect packaging and in perfect condition. I'm in N.Ireland too so obviously had an extra journey to make. Great service.

Ok so the crayfish arrived live but by royal mail when I paid for a courier delivery when I asked about it they answered as if I was in the wrong and that it was for the box that they sent them in, the heat pad and the labour charges and that they now have to pay over £10 per hour for their staff member who packed my order, oh by the way I paid £19.95 for the delivery, they don't say on the website that they send by royal mail, otherwise I wouldn't of used them and it is the reason why I will not use them again and I wouldn't recommend them . I will be going to trop.co instead they send by courier and only charge me for the courier, so they put in the heat pad if the fish need it and the order comes in a very good box by overnight courier which cost me £19.95.

Ordered some fish online. Order not dispatched until I chased. When the order arrived one fish dead. Contacted the company with no response. Chased a couple of times with no response. No refund, no replacement.

I ordered 5 shrimps for a fish tank in a school I work in and only 3 arrived. I emailed a few times but no reply but they were quick to respond when they needed £3 extra for the delivery of my shrimps. They’ll ignore when they have complaints.

SELL FISH THAT ARE NOT IN STOCK JUST CANCEL MY ORDER AFTER A WEEK OF WAITING FOR A DELIVERY NO CONTACT

So i ordered 7 plecos on the 23rd of October only got 4 that i ordered was never told they wasnt instock never offered a refund when i messaged them they said it will be a few weeks so i waited a month and nothing i finally got them on the 16th of February and 2 died in transit the other 1 day later it turn up in cold water was told ill get a refund and that didnt happen so had to get paypal involved and they help with that but i didnt get enough of it back for the fish that died i would never use them again still waiting for a refund for the others and never got the actual fish ordered so had to swap for other fish zero stars if i could

I have purchased marine critters in October 2022, received order confirmation by email. Not anything from them afterwards so phoned them about it. Told they’ll post after a week. Then my order arrived with missing items but in my account with them it says fulfilled order. So I phoned them again for the missing items and was told that they don’t have in stock so have to wait as a shipment is arriving the following week. I waited. After 2 weeks still heard nothing so I have sent an email. No reply. I phoned them was told that it will be shipped on Monday Then Wednesday then it’s too cold to post them and so many other reasons and until today have not received anything and have not heard anything and 4 months and still nothing.

Placed an order online for a reef camera, didn't hear anything for a few days so decided to call. The person i spoke initially said i must have called the wrong shop "as they dont stock reef cameras" then checked the system and said, oh yeah, i see your order (i wonder if i hadn't called if they would ever check their orders anyway), they promised to ship the item the next day and i should receive a notification. Needless to say i didn't receive any notification nor any item. Appalling poor service, not sure how they couod be in business with such selling practices

I ordered a Royal plec from the fish tank, they said they’d posted it when they hadn’t, they gave me a tracking number for somebody else’s fish, a tracking number for Gloucestershire when I live in Oxfordshire.
I spent Friday trying to chase it up and drove 8 miles to my Royal Mail depot to try to find it.
Then they said they’d send me another one, and it didn’t arrive.
I was later told they were having problems with there supplier.
Why not be honest in the first place ?
I still haven’t had a refund !
