LED bulbs are a complete racket
DO NOT buy Feit LED bulbs. I started using them about 2 yrs ago. I bought the packs of bright white floods from Costco to replace can bulbs. I liked the color, brilliance, and dimmable quality. I ended up buying 200 and installed throughout whole house. When the first one failed after about 3 months, I dismissed it as a fluke. Since then every single bulb has failed inside 6 months. They either fail outright, or start flickering, which is worse. I'm going back to incandescent rn and the funny thing is they're outlining the LEDs by a factor of three in most cases. The pricing while more competitive now is simply not justifiable. There will never be savings in electricity usage if you're constantly replacing the bulbs. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I will never but another Feit product, period.

Absolutely the worst product I have ever seen. 100% laziness 100% crap. Nothing about this company is good, and I mean nothing. First off, you can only use the lights if you put the light in a certain position, otherwise it just won’t work, you can’t bend the lights either, also when I put the lights in this position the entire strip just decided it wanted to stop working. Now I’m left with a £40 strip light that doesn’t even work. Save your money and buy a 50 pence light off temu or TikTok shop. Trust me even they are 10x better than this dog water of a product.

Bought a 4-pack LED lights from Costco in Australia for $ 30 approx. The application that needs to be installed is sooo full of ads, that it is impossible to distinguish between what is requird for the lights to work and what are ads. It did not help that the app uses different names from FEIT so you never know what you are signing up for. Finally set up the account with Feit and got the lights working - at least they switched on and off. Did not buy the premium app that costs about as much per month as the 4 lights. However, integrating it with google was not working. It said the email account could not be found. I made sure I used all lower case characters, logged out of the silly feit app and logged in again to make sure my account does exist. Still no luck. So between the crazy pop up ads and the functionality with google, this product is failing.

Wished it lasted longer
Bought a 3-Way Wireless Wall Switch via costco. It worked great till it just stopped working a few months later.
More specifically the remote turns on the light, but then they just shut off after 15 seconds.
An online search showed that this is a common issue.
I contacted them, perhaps it was reengineered and fixed. They kindly replaced it and again all was great for a few more months, then it stopped working again.
I contacted them again and was told the replacement unit does not extend the warranty.
Hummm. Guess this is a product that never lasts more than a few months.
UPDATE -- They agreed to send yet another unit as a replacement. That is appreciated. They did reiterate this does not alter the warranty and they would not be able to offer any more replacements should this one fail.
Customer service is reprehensible
My experience with LIFX, now under Feit Electric, is a warning for any potential customer. After purchasing an expensive product, I found myself abandoned by the company when they stopped supplying essential power adapters. Promises of availability turned into years of waiting. When finally escalated to a support manager, Holden, the response was dismissive and evasive, shifting responsibility to previous owners and undermining my status as a long-time customer.
Holden’s cold reference to me as a "former customer" is an insult, considering my continued purchases. This blatant disregard from LIFX is appalling. It reveals a company more interested in hiding behind legal technicalities than supporting its loyal customers. Such a lack of accountability and respect is not just disappointing; it’s a betrayal of customer trust.
This experience is a clear sign: LIFX, under the helm of Feit Electric, has failed its customers spectacularly. Beware of a brand that treats loyalty and customer service as afterthoughts.
Great response to product failure

A few days later a new bulb arrived, with a letter of apology. That bulb performed perfectly for years longer than expected.

Don't buy Feit Electric Color Caster
Purchased two units of Feit Electric Color Caster to decorate house for Christmas. Had to return both because the unit does not respond to the cheap remote included with the unit
BUYER BEWARE 0 stars and breach of consumer law
0 stars and breach of consumer law. Under the excuse that they have no presence in the UK even though they bought Lifx which still does operate there they refuse to honour warranty on one of their products. The lifx team sent me to the new warranty team and they just fob me off back to lifx support. Never buy from lifx regardless of where you live and while you’re at it, stay away from feit too. Taking them to court, it’s free here so I’ll make an example out of them.
The products are "meh" and that's the good part
The products are "meh", but have the benefit of being cheap. That said, the level of support falls somewhere *below* the bar to be called "cheap". Examples:
Customer support tickets? I believe I've submitted 3 and received zero responses - EVER.
The app asks for feedback. When I choose the option that says something like "not good", it wants feedback - but the feedback form is unresponsive and locks up the app.
Go to the support page and select the "Contact support here"? You get a flyout window on the right that insists you choose a specific product (no general or feedback path available) and then forces you to a bot that has no clue as to what you're really wanting to know and doesn't make support available anymore.
Go to the corporate page and look for contact? Yeah, that pushes you back to the regular support page and the bot.
I've used about 30 of their dimmers. 1 DOA. Every one of them has an issue where even if it is locked at 100% (i.e., full power, no dimming), it creates noise in the circut at first that will mess with any non-dimmable item (thus the log at 100% - this isn't that hard). Touch the "up" once to go to max power? Yeah, that fixes, but you have to do that every time.
The smart plugins regularly lose their registration/responsiveness and have to be re-added to the network.
The UI is simply HORRID in their app.
That's the short list - yes, there is actually more to complain about.
Flicker too much
Purchased these lights from Lowe's. I thought they were great at first because I could control with my Alexa, the set up process was simple, and I could also control with my phone. After a day though, they started flickering really bad. The suggestions do not help. I will have to return these.
