Fast plans created the technical drawings for our loft conversion quickly and as per our instructions, they offered advice and were happy to amend the drawings when we changed our mind about window configuration. Would definitely use them again, highly recommended

Avoid George & Fast plans at all cost not worth it, get someone local! George will do basic drawings but he is not experience enough " don't believe in George 15-20 years experience bul...he lacks of knowledge" had to pay someone else £1000 to find suitable option to my loft!! George never came to look at my attic & told me i have to use metal beam only " very very heavy and more expensive". Got someone local and find solution instantly with only wooden beam! Fast plans offered me £100 compensation when i paid other guy £1000. Take it on the chin grow up admit and refund me. Will launch a complain to the gov body..

I am having my loft converted. George and his team have been really helpful in guiding me through the process, because no matter how much you have read about getting a conversion done if you are not involved in design, planning, building etc on a day-to-day basis there is so much to know. I would definitely recommend contacting FastPlans to discuss your project, especially as George also understands the construction element!

We have now used Fast Plans twice in the last two years. In the main, I have personally liaised with George Kain who has been succinct, incisive, and insightful. George is incredibly knowledgeable on how to push projects through the relevant hurdles at pace despite obviously having many competing priorities. The work is of a high standard and readily accepted and complimented by other professionals. We personally had to go through several iterations including a redraft when Kingston Council initially rejected our plans. George made this process as seamless as possible and was always available to answer any queries. The only thing I would say is that Fast Plans have a sweet spot or core competence around uncomplicated lofts and extensions in urban areas. If you are happy to have a largely generic, online, relatively inexpensive planning provider then Fast Plans is incredible. I would have no hesitation in recommending George and Fast Plans to any potential clients.

I can not speak highly enough about this company, from start to finish I professional and swift work.
I live in a conservation area and had some difficulty with neighbours and the council to which my plans changed a few times, this was not an issue for fast plan and all was taken care of quickly. I would use fast plan again and again.

We contacted George to draw up plans for a kitchen side return extension. His turn-around time is very quick and even with this in mind, he contacted me to tell me that because of a particular feature of our property, the design we wanted wouldn't work. He then suggested the best alternative. The structural engineering drawings were returned quickly too.

If you want an architect to return detailed drawings of internal layouts etc, then this probably isn't the company for you. But that is also reflected in the price. The plans are there to be approved and the internal layout is left down to the individual.

Both George and Sarah have been very supportive to us, particularly in respect to being let down by our building company.
George actually redrew the plans and engineering drawings for a very reasonable fee after loosing our deposit with the builders.
He also made the adjustments required by the local authority with no extra cost.

Our journey with Fast Plans have been brilliant and very straight forward. They have assisted us in every step of the journey from the initial call, dealing with council to helping with Building Control application. Sara has been great, responding to emails within minutes with all needed advise and support. Our builder is very happy with the detailed plans and calculations which have been provided by Fast Plans. I have had a very pleasant experience. I requested a few changes which were done quickly even though George had advised they wouldn’t work very well-I then wished to change back to the original plan and this was done quickly and easily. I have found both George and Sara easy to deal with and always responding to my requests no matter how small they may seem. I would recommend this company to anyone (I am first time in this process) and have felt cared for and looked after all the way through. Build is yet to commence, I am very excited to see the paper plans come to life though!!

Fast plans are great if you want someone to design a loft conversion that is the exact opposite of what you paid for and agreed. Also if you don’t want it to meet building regulations or planning requirements. They are even better for you if you want them to turn nasty and hold the plans back (even though they are unusable) and you have paid for them. George is very aggressive if comment on his work. Even though it’s all wrong and designs schemes that simply do not work. This is my exact experience with this clown. Most of their reviews are posted directly to their website. This gives him or his back end team the opportunity to review any negative reviews. Which is why this one was removed from his site.

This company is an absolute joke, They reached out to my company over a year ago offering a service to complete plans and calculations in an efficient time frame and at a good price. As a company i thought they sounded good and took them up on this and started to work with them.
The first few jobs went well then the incompetence started. Unable to draw plans that worked for clients, even though we know we can build the way the loft should. Price increase whilst starting projects, very unprofessional and then refusing to release a clients plans and calculations as i owe them money for another invoice, which is incomplete and i nothing to do with this client. I have not paid for their service and yet they are refusing to give a client their paperwork which has been paid for.
Legal action is starting against them as this will cause a loose in work for my staff and will create an issue for the pregnant client i have who needs this loft conversion completed before her baby is born in October.
Never meet such a shambles of a company in all the 20 years i have done construction

The whole team at Fast Plans are excellent - very responsive, helpful with all my questions and fast in turning plans around as well as liaising with my builder and the council. I felt I’m very good hands and would highly recommend them.
