Marvellous company who I will turn to when we can get to st Helena after the virus goes away ;thank you and appreciate the rapid refund too.

We booked a trip to South Africa and Mozambique through Far & Wild. I hadn’t heard of them before but we were put in touch with them when we tried to book directly with a local operator in South Africa who we had been on safari with before. Far & Wild were very helpful in booking our tour, giving advice and helping us with additional activities before the tour.

Unfortunately due to Covid-19 we were unable to travel in 2020. The tour was cancelled and although offered a refund of our deposit we took the option to reschedule to 2021. Now that this years tour has also had to be cancelled we opted for a refund which was received with no quibble within a matter of days. We had booked flights ourselves and a now sitting on a large credit voucher for these, so it was a relief to be offered a refund of our deposit.

Hopefully when the world returns to normal we will try again to take this trip and wouldn’t hesitate to use Far & Wild

Highly recommend using this company. We booked our honeymoon to Botswana and Namibia with Peter Felix @ Far & Wild in 2019 and he was brilliant in helping to organise a custom made tour with our bucket list items and modest budget in mind. Then the pandemic hit. Peter helped us to contingency plan, postpone the trip and keep us abreast of developments. When we could no longer postpone the trip, Peter helped us obtain a full refund of our deposit monies. We are so grateful to Peter and Far & Wild for their flexibility and customer care - we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use their services again. 5 stars!

My partner, son and I booked a trip with Far and Wild to travel to India in July 2020. Of course Covid19 happened and this trip had to moved to July 2021, we have now sadly had to cancel our holiday due to the ongoing issues India is sadly facing. Far and Wild have been amazing, from initially booking to having to move dates and ultimately cancel they have been professional, communicative and friendly. I cannot recommend them highly enough. We hope in the future to rebook and travel to India and I would not hesitate to use Far and Wild again. I would highly recommend them to everyone. Travelling with an older child like we were going to be, they had fantastic advice and organised what would have been the perfect experience for us all. The team we spoke with were all so lovely. We will be back!

I highly recommend Alistair at Far and Wild as I have had the best customer service from him. He is helpful, informative, personable and professional at the same time. I had a trip booked last year which was rebooked for this year but unfortunately due to Covid19 restrictions I had to cancel it. However I am pleased to say that my deposit was fully refunded very promptly. Thanks Alistair for everything. I will rebook with you again, hopefully next year.

We are so grateful to the team at Far and Wild for all their help planning our exciting trip to South Africa. We were so looking forward to it. This company was recommended to us by a friend in Kenya. We were very impressed with the detail and personal service we received from Ben at Far & Wild Travel for our dream holiday in Kenya on safari. He made sure our itinerary worked, and we had no wasted time travelling between parks. Every whim was catered for. Unfortunately due to Covid we were unable to travel, and so were offered a refund of our deposit, which we accepted. If you are looking for intelligent, sensible and expert advice and itinerary, I cannot recommend Ben at Far & Wild highly enough.

Ali at Far & Wild did a perfect job at formulating a brilliant, family-focussed itinerary. Unfortunately, due to our circumstances changing due to COVID, we opted to cancel which was done promptly, without quibble and in full, which was very much appreciated and more than reasonable. We hope to rebook in future as the professional and bespoke service was outstanding and they are clearly a reputable company who value their customers.

Thank you Far & Wild for your excellent service throughout. We had a super trip planned to Namibia in Match 2020, but due to COVID we had to reschedule to March 2021 which is now impossible to do with current restrictions. Unfortunately we are unable to postpone further and so have had to cancel. We are grateful for the quick and easy cash refund (done within 48 hours of cancellation) and the clear communication throughout. When, not if(!), we travel again we will definitely come back to you and I would have no qualms recommending people to use you.

A smooth experience from the start! We booked our honeymoon to South Africa through Peter, who gave us plenty of advice and guidance with our hotel stays, to ensure it was exactly what we wanted. He kept us up to date with covid restrictions and was always quick to respond to my emails about our trip. Unfortunately, our trip is unable to go ahead due to current restrictions. Peter therefore discussed our options with us and as promised, we were refunded within a couple of weeks. We are completely gutted to not be travelling, but want to thank Peter for everything he has done for us. We can’t wait to rebook our trip when restrictions have been lifted completely.

A very professional and impressive experience with Far and Wild. Nathan arranged an excellent itinerary for an activity holiday in Sri Lanka, which Covid managed to scupper twice.
Peter and his team followed up and provided excellent support to try and recover things but unfortunately the travel restrictions left us no choice but to cancel.
Peter provided a full refund in a timely manner, no questions asked.
We will definitely be looking to Far and Wild when holidays are back on the agenda.

Far & wild travel have been brilliant. We booked our honeymoon with Alistair just after the pandemic began for March of this year in the hope that things would’ve improved. Unfortunately, this has not been the case and so our wedding and honeymoon have been cancelled. Alistair has been fantastic in keeping us up to date, and once cancellation was confirmed, he offered us a new date or a refund. Given the uncertainty, we chose a refund and received all our monies back within 3 days. This was a huge comfort/relief to us given the amount of money we had paid for our honeymoon, so can’t thank Alistair and his team enough. I know some companies out there are only offering vouchers so receiving our money back was a welcome resolution! We will definitely be rebooking our honeymoon with them at a later date. Can’t recommend enough!

Excellent service and support from Far and Wild. Successful holiday in 2019 to Sri Lanka convinced us to book again for 2020 - COVID 19 clearly prevented that but Peter and the team at Far and Wild arranged everything including a refund of our deposit - hassle free - will certainly book again with Far and Wild when we are able to travel safely; highly recommended

Great experience with Far and Wild Travel - after helping me to plan a fantastic honeymoon at the start of the year pre-pandemic, sadly with travel restrictions and temporary closures by the hotels it was no longer feasible for us to reschedule and travel at a later date in 2021. Far and Wild has been really flexible and provided me with a full refund of my deposit with no hassle, which is such a relief and has made the whole experience of cancelling our honeymoon much less stressful than it otherwise might have been - thanks Far and Wild!

Far and Wild were a great company to plan our holiday with. Alistair was great with advice for our planned trip to Kenya in October. Sadly we weren't able to go on our trip due to Corona. We had paid a deposit for accommodation and internal transport as we had booked our own flights. I didn't think we would be able to get our deposit back as we weren't ATOL Protected due to it not being a package trip. Luckily for us Ben and his team went above and beyond what they needed to do and gave us our full deposit back. We are looking forward to a time when we can rebook our dream trip with Far and Wild. I booked my trip for Ethiopia with Far and Wild. Found everyone I dealt with very helpful and knowledgeable and even when the trip was cancelled due to COVID the staff were still helpful and refunded me in full. Hopefully we can book again in the future!

I cannot speak highly enough of Far & Wild. We had originally booked a family safari to Botswana & Zambia but Covid meant we had to change our plans. Alistair & Peter worked tirelessly to design an alternative safari that was possible in the Covid environment, and despite both safari camps & airlines constantly cancelling on them they persevered to deliver us an amazing holiday. Thanks guys for going above & beyond - you'll definitely be in our future travel plans, whenever the world opens up to adventure travel again!
