I paid a little over 80 EUR worth of custom duties on a 103 EUR Ferrari sweatshirt despite paying fan brands the shipping charges because Fanbrands sent my package as a private parcel rather than an company parcel.
In my honest opinion, get your F1 merch from the official F1 website (F1 store)

Hi Gavin! Thanks for your reply. I am Tamas from FansBRANDS and checked your issue. As I know my colleague from the sales asked you to send the documents you got from your country's customs and she could kindly investigate why do you have soo much extra duty. Unfortunately you didn't send her anything and then you took over the package without contacting with her.
On the other hand, I don't really understand the message, "package as private rather than company". Since we are contract partners of UPS, we can't even ship anyithing as "private" (there is no such on option).
Next time please stay in touch with our customer support, so we maybe could help you! But since there is really no one who can affect the rules of another country, always contact the customs in advance!
And of course your didn't have to take over the package: it returns to us and we could pay back your money. Please consider to modify the rating, because we really want to help all of our customers, if they leave ;)

Worth it!
Wasn't too sure about the product I was interested in and contacted them to get some information. They were very responsive and helpful. Chose and paid for my items and they arrived within afew days! Would totally buy from them again.

I ordered a birthday present
I ordered a birthday present for my husband. I wanted to surprise him. Everything went perfectly. A week later, the order was delivered. (In Russia, goods from foreign online stores go through customs). The quality is very good. I recommend FansBrands. They also sent a small souvenir as a bonus. Thanks!
