I have been using (both store, phone and online) for many years. I have had the odd rare blip, but just phoning them and telling if they can get it sorted they will. Just ordered some interfacing for my stash, packed well and delivered quickly. When you deal with the staff at their head office, they are knowledgeable, friendly & helpful. They also have a YouTube channel, with hints tips and info on their product. Would recommend them & definitely use them again.

Tried ordering some fabric on line, not an easy site, so I called and spoke to a lovely lady, ordered my fabric, and it arrived the next day. Great service and the speed of delivery was amazing.

As usual Great Service from Fabric Land A Lovely Lady on the phone took my order , Fabric Land Staff always pack things perfectly so it Travels well , and great care is taken with orders , I Love this Company , we only live a few miles from one of their Stores , but ordering online saves all the Hassle of trying to park etc. A super 5* Company I happily recommend.

Ordered online having enquired about suitable fabric and receiving a prompt and helpful response.
Cannot fault the customer service and quick delivery. UK companies like this should be cherished. They are efficient, helpful and great to deal with.

As a small company I can rely on Fabric land to deliver promptly & always have what I need in stock. With the added bonus of the points system the prices for bulk buying are excellent.

This review is based on a telephone enquiry, rather than a buying experience. But this experience left me wanting to go elsewhere rather than consider buying at the store.
Spoke to Christine about curtain fabrics. Polite, but clearly wanting to get off the phone as soon as possible, from the moment the call was answered.
Christine said they only sell dress making fabrics and if you want any curtains to visit another particular store in Westbourne.
2 stars because I did not discover what they sell, nor was I encouraged to visit and look at their other curtain making materials.

Fabulous fabrics at great prices. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Always getting in new fabrics for the different seasons. Lovely shops. Online is easy to do, and prompt delivery

Charging premium for shipment to "Scottish lowlands" and slapping a standard royal mail stamp on the parcel with roughly half the shipping cost value (remind me, since when does royal mail charge more for stamps to Glasgow?) and then when the shipment does not arrive they expect that I waste my time to go to the post office since it "might be there", not having any tracking information beyond proof of shipment and basically leaving it to me to make sure their shipment arrives. (I know the royal mail guy here and he's very reliable and I'm pretty sure he would either have left a card or told me that there's a parcel sitting in the office for a week now, since I've seen him a few times since then, so most likely it was simply lost in transit) Not helpful at all, didn't offer to contact royal mail themselves or anything like that.

I don’t know why everyone on here is so negative. I received my items and they were amazing. Exactly what I ordered. Exactly what I was expecting. Perfection. Will definitely be ordering more!

An employee (Bev), she was outstanding. Sooooo helpful, pleasant and polite. She answered my every question, and was very respectful and considerate. I absolutely enjoyed this experience and would go out of my way to purchase at the Pickering location.

I spent quite a bit of time trying to coordinate fabric to make pillowcases for my grandson. I thought I’d pick up some fleece that was on sale to make a blanket as well. Unfortunately, I was forced to buy more fabric than I needed for my pillow case because I was told they couldn’t cut the fabric because there would have been less than a metre that would have been left behind. Unfortunately as the sales clerk unraveled fabric on another bolt that I only needed 1/4 metre there was only half a metre on the bolt. I asked why is there only 1/2 metre on this bolt if your store policy dictates no less than a metre can be left behind? I said clearly it’s not a policy and she gave me some excuse. As well, I had spent 40 minutes coordinating fleece fabric to make a reversible blanket and needed 2 metres of each bolt. Again I was told I needed to buy the whole 2.7metres on the bolt. I gave up and said I refused to buy more fabric than I needed as I was already forced to do that for the fabric for the pillowcase. The clerk wouldn’t budge. I said under the circumstances I would not be purchasing any of the fleece fabric.
I am fed up and I will not shop again at this fabricland on Brock Road

Not only do Fabric Land have an amazing range of fabric and haberdashery, but they also have incredible customer service! One of my items was missing, I let them know and within two days they had the item with me. Friendly and efficient.
They were also the only place I could find everything I was looking for in one place.

I would like to know why Fabricland charge SO much for delivery to the Isle of wight ??? I order from various fabric shops in England and none of them charge extra to deliver to the Island. Our postcodes come in with Hampshire. I get parcels from Royal mail, Evri, DHL and more from all the sites I use and as I have already said they never charge a penny more. So why are you ???
If this continues then my shopping days with you are over. Please look into this as it makes no sense to me whatsoever.

The staff went out of their way to source the fabric for me from different branches, they were so helpful, delivery was very quick. they kept me up to date with their progress. I'm one very happy lady

Great prices and helpful over the phone, weird delivery pricing.
As mentioned the price for fabric was great, very competitive, and when calling to ask about which fabric would suit our needs best, the phone rep was very helpful.
The delivery prices are based on price of fabric bought though, not weight or size, which feels weird and results big price swings for 1 extra meter.

These guys were incredibly helpful- their online ordering service is very user friendly- they were able to process my order in a efficient and professional manner!

I had an issue that I could not collect my order (used click and collect) however rather than being unhelpful they went out their way to come up with a solution to the issues and were really kind and made it a doddle to get my order - thank you Fabric Land - you really were lovely 😊

Hugely dissatisfied. Ordered the wrong fabric by mistake, so contacted Fabricland to see about returning for exchange or refund. Got curt reply about I should have ask for a sample first, and refusal to take the fabric back, and or replace. I informed them about the Consumer Contracts Regulations, Got another email back from their head manager, telling me I should have read their T&C's and that they wont take the farbic back. Needless to say this is a breach of Consumer rights, They are meant to take it back if its within the 14 day window, which I was. This company dose not give a crap about your rights or your custom, so I will never use them again and recommend everyone avoided at all costs.

I buy all my fabrics from fabricland and my latest purchase - polyester cotton for pillowcases and fleece for grandchildren's sleepsuits - is excellent quality, as it has always been. I would particularly like to thank Vicky, whose customer service is amazing. She is a credit to the company. Many thanks.

I ordered 2 dress lengths of fabric and they didn't have either one in stock. Very disappointing!! I would expect their website to be kept current.
