Paying £35 a month (which goes up every year) and can’t even complete a fitness class. The projector screen has a persistent fault that keeps dropping down and interrupting instructor-led sessions mid-class — this is a recurring issue that management have done absolutely nothing to fix.
Most recently, the class had to be cut short AGAIN. The instructor was left in tears — embarrassed and completely unsupported by staff. Not one person came to help her. A member of staff eventually walked in, couldn’t make eye contact, said absolutely nothing, and walked back out. No apology. No explanation. Nothing.
For context — if I miss or cancel a class, I get charged £5. Yet when they can’t deliver a class due to their own unresolved equipment failures, there’s no accountability whatsoever.
Budget restrictions may explain some things. Poor customer service and leaving a distressed instructor without any support costs nothing to fix. Sort it out.

Horrible place, never again!

The Gym and gym staff especially those I'm working with from physio are great.
The negativity is only Towards parking Be Aware and get a ticket it's Free for upto 2 hours.
The pay and display is in the large area of the car park and can be missed if entering from the right side of the building.
I paid £25 for my mistake so you won't have to .

As someone who is disabled with Arthritis in all of my joints, I was nervous going to the gym. My induction was amazing, I had Jennifer Taylor who did my induction and she was a credit to Everyone Active, made me feel welcome and at ease and gave me some really good advice.

Great staff very helpful and chatty, great facility, very well equipped and clean!

Good facilities if over a little overcrowded. Great customer service.

A superb experience.
I have just returned to Hucknall Leisure Centre after being away most of this year.
I love aquarobics and am thrilled with the refurbishment.
It now feels like a 5 star venue.
Very helpful customer service and first class aquarobics instructor.
It's so good to be back.

I visited a few weeks ago as I am looking to return to the gym. I will need to ride there and Vicky was both welcoming and happy to answer my questions. It really stands out when you are treated well these days as customer service seems to have become a forgotten art.

Shambles of a gym , I’ve been a member for years and i have never known it to be as bad as it is now , music way to loud (apparently to create a atmosphere) it’s that loud you cannot listen to your own music because if that in the background, loads of kids in the gym all the time with no members of staff walking the floor all they do is stand at the entrance to the gym , thing’s constantly out of order and it’s dirty this would never be like this when lee was the gym manager . Then to top it off apparently hucknall everyone active wants to appeal to a younger demographic, so if your 40+ they don’t want us wasn’t happy with this , also both fire doors to the e gym are constantly obstructed by school bags and also equipment god forbid they have a fire and you need to get out , I have took photos and will be passing them on to notts fire brigade to voice my concerns

I had a lovely time with my grandson swimming. He can't swim yet, so the new teacher pool was a excellent way of getting him used to the water. The water temperature was just right and the staff are very friendly. Nice and clean, our experience was excellent, can't wait for our next visit.

Only my second visit in 2 days and really enjoyed it..theres something for everyone...

Great experience playing badminton and it has made me more active

Very enjoyable time and the place was very clean and well looked after. I was a bit surprised to see communal changing rooms and a charge for under 3's.

£7 for sessions at peak times is a disgrace, particularly in a cost f living crises. I paid £7 and it was rammed. 2-3 per item and I’m not even exaggerating. Disgraceful. Btw, not everyone has the option to sign up.

Kirsty was very friendly and helpful. It was our first time at Hucknall Leisure Centre playing Racket ball. We had a great time and we have booked for next week.

Gym equipment is consistently in good working order and clean; there is enough equipment even at busier times.
All the staff members are friendly, respectful, and happy to help with any queries/ requests for assistance.
