Car booked in for a recall and was given a free health check very quick and efficient and the staff are excellent very friendly big shout out to Rebecca she is brilliant

I was very impressed with Evans Halshaw's customer service - from arranging my appointment and the ongoing process of keeping me informed at all stages of my MOT, service and work carried out. I would also like to compliment the administration staff in the Service Dept - they were most informative and polite. I would definitely recommend Evans Halshaw.

I took my car in for a repair needed after the last health check. My car was booked in for 1 p.m. and I received a friendly greeting on my arrival. I chose to wait while the work was being done. The waiting area was comfortable with TV, refreshments and Wi-fi available. The repair was done in about an hour and after settling the bill I was shown where my car was parked. The staff as always were friendly, helpful and efficient. I have been a customer of Evans Halshaw for many years and before that Reg Vardy. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

bought a new frontera in october 2025, sales person Callum very helpfull as I was unsure of what the high tec specs weere and he explained in excellent detail everything about the car, made buying it so easy as I was also trading in my grandland, he completed all paper work fast and efficently I had no problems, everything he said and done was superb well done, thinking of going back soon to buy my son a new frontera it is magic and the process was so easy all down to Callum cheers mate I just hope you read my review

I made an appointment with Jack at shiremoor. I parked up and there he was with a very nice greeting. He showed me all the models as I’m due a new motorbility car.
Jack was so concerned and really helped me . I have a Moka at present and love to drive it. From day one it has been so comfy. I found all the seating in new models did not have the correct height to make me feel able to view all areas out of the windscreen. I came away very sad. I then had a very nice call from the service dept , I have known them a good number of years so they had a slot to MOT my car as it was due . I had a very nice gentleman pick up my car and another nice gentleman return it, it was so good to drive straight away it felt like a new car. I was so happy with all the care I sent as a thank you one of my home made cream cakes hoping it was large enough for all the staff have some. today I had nice call from the young lady dealing with service department Thanking me for their treat . I have had many years exellent service always from your staff and therefor been able to pass on your showroom at Shiremoor. Well done to all and thank you .

Maz was very helpful and a really nice person he made the whole process very easy and clear and they also swapped my service plan from my old car to my new car and you were never pressured into any deal. The whole process was very easy and I thought the staff they were all very friendly. I have used them now for six cars.

Unfortunately the day I had to take the car in we had a heavy snowstorm and it took me an hour and 45 minutes to get the Shiremoor but that wasn’t a problem. Arrived at the garage went straight at the reception and was greeted by a big smile of the young lady who took my details. I give her both my key fobs and then proceeded straight to the coffee machine about an hour later another young lady came and said the car shouldn’t be too much longer. After about 10 minutes, the lady came with a key fobs and told me the car had a health check.and all was good and all had been updated so I left a happy bunny once again Evan‘s halshaw has exceeded my expectations well done to all the staff

Had a great experience buying a pre-reg June 2024 Vauxhall Vivaro Prime L1 2.0 litre Diesel for our window cleaning business. Went to view van on Monday afternoon at Evans Halshaw Shiremoor and drove away on Wednesday afternoon. I’d been looking at 23/24 year model Vivaros from other dealers, but getting a ‘new’ van with only 20 miles and nearly 2 years manufacturer’s warranty on it was a no-brainer.
Stewart was very helpful without any hard sell which made the buying experience a real pleasure. Thanks Stewart!

I’ve bought my last few cars from Evans Halshaw but have been apprehensive to use the MOT service as I have had previous bad experiences at other dealerships that had put me off.
