At first before purchasing the car they were fantastic so quick to reply to emails and arrange a viewing making sure I felt well looked after. However once I purchased the car out right and drove away with it I noticed multiple problems wrong with the car. They said everything that wasn’t right would get sorted because I paid for an extra 2 years warranty but since telling me that they have been awful. Not replying to my emails just fobbing me off telling me that they needed to speak to someone else and would get back to me, I haven’t heard anything from them for 11 days now just completely ignoring me. When I call the phone just rings and rings until I call off another number then they answer straight away but then tell me they will look into it and get back to me. I’ve had the car now for 5 weeks and still nothing has been fixed I’ve had to result in sorting it out myself and taking it to a different Evans Halshaw for it to be fixed. Absolutely appalling customer service after you’ve paid them they don’t care about anything else.

Arrange to look at a Mazda mx5 at their Doncaster branch on Wheatley hall road when I arrived no one had logged my visit. Car had not been prepped vinyl roof was dirty and marked appeared no one had bothered to clean then sales person tried to start vehicle would not start not impressed totally unprofessional told him not to bother walked away my advice steer clear

Terrible service, Rude staff and no consideration to send updates or advise time scales etc. I love the car even though I had problems with it but getting the problems sorted has been a nightmare. I would not recommend Evans Halshaw Doncaster.

Shocking. Only garage in doncaster that can do a job that needs coding so can charge what they like and do!! Couldn't get it in for weeks, so couldn't use car (was in limp mode)! Tried to force me to pay £110 for diagnostic that I had already had done at 2 other garages (free of charge). Recommended work that I knew didn't need doing (as they had done the work themselves only 14 months before!). But because it was over a year, even though the car had only done 20000 miles and the part should be good for about 100000 miles, it wouldn't have been covered under their warrantee!

I emailed the address they have supplied and I am still waiting for a response nearly 3 weeks later.

I am now seeking legal guidance.

Sold me a car they knew had faults. Promised a repair for all faults, only authorised one, then didn’t pay the bill for the repair for nearly 3 months leaving me with no car. There was no courtesy car offered or implied. I lost work and wages. Stress and anxiety of trying to pay my bills. These guys ignored all communications.
I am now stuck with a car that needs >£3000 in repairs and feel like I’ve been mugged.

AVOID.

I currently have a PCP deal and a 3 month warranty, my car has spent nearly all the warranty period in the shop with no urgency to get it fixed or even correspond with me, I have emailed the dealership and the correspondence received back is far from professional, i was told "well if you want to pick your car up and sort it yourself, you can" i still have no car and paying a large payment monthly.

The usual friendly an efficient service. Health check advisory item was dealt with same day.

Great staff always keep you informed as to how things are going

Appalling service! We took our car in feb 2023 told them what was wrong with it and it wouldn’t pass it’s MoT, and they said to take it it and it would get sorted. They called to say no it can’t be mot’d and they have ordered a part, so I had to re arrange, we had to call twice more to arrange another MOT. They then did not call all day, when we called at5pm they had ‘lost the car’ when he found it eventually he said it hadn’t been MoT’d so we had to wait another day no car. Collected car. No wiper working still, so took it back, they had to order another part! Spoke to manager, was going to call us back, she did and said it would get sorted! Took it back for the wiper and a new light by this point. They came and said light was smashed so couldn’t fit it but wiper had been done. Car isn’t moved, and no washers in wiper so they hadn’t checked it? And guess what…still not working! Said they would be in touch when new light arrived! 8 weeks later after getting all the jobs done at a different garage within 2 weeks, I called Doncaster back and they said ‘yeah lights in, when do you want it doing’ device is terrible and we’ve complained to manager (still waiting for a call back 6 weeks on) and now moved to another garage!
