I purchased my 1st ever car today and the experience was beyond belief. I reserved the car on line to view just under a week ago for a time which suited me and upon arrival the service was excellent. I picked my car up today and the purchase was all smooth sailing. The Sales Executive Will Whippe was professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with 😀

Major service and MOT on Car. Major service carried out noted a side indicator bulb out, rather than replace or contact me at this point they decided to MOT the car in the full knowledge beforehand that they would fail it . They did fail it for the bulb, they then replaced the bulb and passed it . Livid that my car now shows its first fail because they failed to replace a bulb worth pennies on a major service before MOT which incidentally was carried out by the same fitter. Why would you MOT a car that you knew upfront would fail Are they target driven or something.
Also quoted over the odds for replacement of front discs and pads £418 clearly advertised on Ford web site as a fixed price £269 .
And this is a so called Main Ford Dealer.

Fantastic service from Wesley at the Newport road branch.
Saw the car on, Wesley was very knowledgeable and sent a very detailed video of the car to us straight away, we reserved the car while we could come and view it and the service was brilliant, very quick and professional and had the car and agreement in place all within 2 days of seeing the original advert. Great experience, lovely staff
I had a great experience with Evans Halshaw whilst finding a car on finance for the first time. I have very little knowledge on cars or purchasing them but William Whippe walked me through every step to make it as easy as possible for me to understand. He helped me choose the right car for my needs on the finance scheme that worked best for me, and answered all my questions with a friendly and helpful manner. Whilst there was regrettably a delay with getting my car finalised due to a fault with the headlamp, he kept me informed of the progress and made sure I was happy with the final product. All other staff I dealt with were just as friendly and accommodating and I felt I could trust them with this decision. Many thanks for your help, I am thrilled with my car!
