I recently bought a Mini Convertible from Evens Halshaw, Bury, in exchange for an older model of the same car.
The service I received from Elan was exceptional. He was friendly, polite, respectful & helpful as well as being efficient & knowledgable in the sale of cars. He remembered detail, kept me informed as to the progress of the sale & was able to organise a quick collection of the newer vehicle.
The condition of the car was excellent & felt like a new vehicle.

I BOUGHT A KUGA ONLINE WITH THE BURY BRANCH AND THE SERVICE I RECEIVED IN THE USED CAR SALES DEPARTMENT WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING TO SAY THE LEAST. DID NOT ANSWER IMPORTANT EMAILS AND THE SALESPERSON WAS NEVER AVAILABLE. THE CAR CAR WAS PRESENTED IN A VERY POOR STATE. DISGUSTING SERVICE FOR A MAIN FORD DEALERSHIP.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the service carried out on my Toyota Auris Hybrid after 10,000 miles at your Evans Halshaw service centre.
Firstly, when I booked the appointment, I specifically confirmed that you carry out servicing for hybrid vehicles and that a hybrid health check would be included. I was assured that this would be done. However, when I arrived for the service, the receptionist informed me that a hybrid health check could not be carried out for my car.
Unfortunately, I did not have any option at that time to cancel the service, as my vehicle was close to 10,000 miles and I hold a premium warranty. I was concerned that declining or delaying the service could affect or invalidate the warranty. As the hybrid health check was one of the main reasons I chose your service centre, this was very disappointing.
Secondly, I am very unhappy with the standard of cleaning provided. The interior was only vacuumed; the seats, dashboard and doors were not cleaned and were still very dusty. The exterior wash was also poorly done, with no proper foam wash, and the car was not dried properly.
Unfortunately, I was unable to raise these concerns on the same day, as I had to return to work immediately after collecting the vehicle.
Overall, I feel that this service was not worth the £256 I paid, and I am extremely disappointed with the experience.
I would appreciate your response, an explanation for these issues, and details of what steps you can take to resolve this matter.

Adil is really professional. Made the whole experience very easy

The staff were helpful and informative. Especially Adil who we dealt with to buy a car .

We walked in on a Thursday lunchtime and drove out with the car on Friday afternoon. We told Elan the sort of car we wanted and budget and he quickly reviewed the stock and narrowed the choice to two cars, one conventional and one futuristic. We went for a test drive unaccompanied and then he comprehensively talked through the various available service packages.

Smooth and easy process, Elan was helpful and made the process straightforward. Really happy with my car and service :)

Great experience dealing with Evans Halshaw Bury. I bought the car online with videos and detailed description of the car sent via email. I dealt with Elan who was very good, explained everything and kept me right up to date with the progress. Would not hesitate to buy from the dealership and Elan again. Thank you.

Had a bad experience with a different dealership so went into this experience trepidous and unsure. However, this dealership were amazing, and Elan, the man who I was dealing with went above and beyond, answering every question, answering every call and always doing everything he could to make the experience as easy as possible. I came to Evans Halshaw to potentially part ex my car. They unfortunately couldn't provide a price anywhere near what I was after so I said once I sold it, I would come back. I dealt with Elan with the whole process and he kept me updated regularly with the car which was being transferred from another site further afield. Although I changed my mind when I saw it and purchased a different car, it wasn't a problem for him. He didn't push me to go with the original car and left the choice entirely up to myself which was great. He was friendly, patient, professional and arranged for my new car to be valeted at another time that suited me so I could still take the car away that same day without leaving me without a car for longer. My car has been valeted and it's super clean! Thank you

Recently had my car in the service department everything was diagnosed correctly and fixed to my satisfaction

Elan, made the whole purchase of the car very pleasant and so relaxed. His empathy and professionalism was top drawer. I appreciated he had to sell products, but Elan didn’t push the hard sell knowing my personal issue. So hats off to him. Lovely lad.

i'd previously wrote my review all was good but after a week i feel ive been done over a bit , more marks & a few things i didnt notice or somehow have magically appeared , car on the whole is good , terrible fuel consumption which i find odd , marks in the dashboard , bodypanels out of line i didnt notice & they werent pointed out cos everything was priced in so i missed a few things that probally would of made me think twice about the purchase , that said adil was nice decent friendly guy & did put work into getting the deal done sorted everything that needed doing i have lessons learned for next time , DO NOT LET THEM PUT GUARD X ON YOUR VEHICLE , now my steering wheel is peeling wish id not bothered.
