Staff at Evans Halshaw very good and explained what was necessary to me. They kept me informed regarding the servicing of the car and when it passed its MOT. I would definitely recommend them.

Leeds Citroën manager scared of customer...
Last month my son paid cash for a used Nissan Leaf from the Citroën Leeds branch of Evans Halshaw. The car did have some minor cosmetic damage that the Salesperson, Josh, assured us would be rectified. My Son did need the car urgently to attend an imminent funeral, Josh again assured us that after the funeral we could book the car into their body shop and they would put it to rights.
For three weeks now my Son has been calling the branch. Each time he's told he needs to be to speak to the manager and is promised a call back. This call back never happens.
My Son has been to the branch in person and was told the manager was in a meeting.
My Son has contacted Evans Halshaw head office and received no reply.
I can only assume that speaking to a customer, a teenager, is too complicated or intimidating for the manager to cope with.
Or, perhaps, he's under instructions from head office to lie to and cheat their customers.
Obviously we're passing this to trading standards and the motor vehicle ombudsman.
Also obviously we will not be using Evans Halshaw in the future. Plus making sure as many people as possible know what abysmal dishonest service they provide.
It's almost like companies such as Evans Halshaw are trying to drive away customers and hasten the day when everyone buys online.
Maybe, someone from Evans Halshaw will see this and actually care enough to find someone brave enough to talk to a teenager and rectify the issue.
Definitely, don't buy a car, New or Old, or have work done by this company.

I had my car serviced 2 months ago and was charged for a full oil change, yet a month later the oil light started flashing. I took it somewhere else and they had clearly not changed the oil as the level was very low and the oil that was there was dirty.
