The title says it all. Brentwood Council is hopeless, no concern for the welfare of residents. My experience is just awful, try to question their actions and they close ranks to cover for each other. The date below was the start and it is still ongoing. Disgusting

Non - transparent and about as helpful as a rattle snake in a lucky dip. So defensive when asked a question regarding highways, which leads us to believe they are hiding a plethora of incompetence.

It's not hard to place A CORRECT order with Medicare , yet they seem to blame Medicare for there own incompetence.

Personally I think Essex County Council Adult Social Care needs to be taken over by another company and Re-Train the staff to understand that a part of there title is to actually CARE.

I bet there getting paid well, and have a good pension to come ..let's just hope they don't need help getting off the toilet when they retire .......

When parts were stolen from my car in a “Trustpark” accredited car park run by Essex County Council. I was met by obfuscation, indifference and lies. When I tried to take the matter further, their legal department lied about previous thefts that had taken place at the same location. As for speaking to them to them on the phone, well good luck.

Recently moved to this area and already disappointed with the poor service from Chelmsford council.
I set up my council tax and never heard back from them. I then got a threatening letter demanding money. They obviously knew who i was. They assume every body knows to go online to set up a DDM. They never even told me. I was to work it out myself. The threatening letter stated i had to set it up in march but i never moved in until the July. I tried phoning them but they didn't answer. I emailed and got a letter through the post which doesn't show the payment i have already made. I have tried to sort it on the online portal but going round in circles.
to top it off I applied for my Blue Badge online and it says they try and sort within 20 day. I never heard from them and phoned. the phone message says 6 weeks. It means i wont be able to use my badge which will run out next week. They are totally incompetent. I understand it is a liberal democrat run council. They need voted out and the staff trained on customer service.

I received a leaflet from Tory election regarding voting and it states that Vicky ford is our Chelmsford candidate. There’s a list of political goals . One which I noticed was passionate about keeping open green spaces in Chelmsford. Really? Why are they building thousands of houses in beaulie park on green open landscapes that most locals cannot afford. Londoners are moving into beaulie to save money on London prices. Vicky ford stated how proud she was of the new rail station being built at beaulie, why ? So the the beaulie residents can commute to work!

A faceless organisation that lacks integrity or basic morals. This council is a complete drain on local wealth and investment - they embark on ludicrous projects which are later unwound at the detriment of local tax payers. There is no accountability for this abhorrent conduct. Our local roads are in an appalling state. It’s a complete waste of time escalating matters with this organisation or local councillors. Road needs repairing children and residents in danger as cracks are big enough for feet and bike wheels to fall down. Been marked out several times but no action for nearly a year. Carries main sewer which has fractured in the past. Take you money but do not provide a competent or timely service.

Claim on their PR campaigns to be advocates for helping the vulnerable and anti-stalking campaigns, but in reality they set bailiffs on people for PCN’s they didn’t even know they had during a cost of living crisis, and have people repeatedly harassed (stalked) by letters and threats to repossess your car for a fictitious £35 fine. Pathetic organisation who don’t backup their supposed values through actions and happily align themselves with thuggish agents such as Bristow & Sutar.

Essex Children Services are absolutely disgraceful. They fail to protect children and simply rely on the fact that they have the ability to make up their own evidence to remove a child.
Please be careful when dealing with these awful people, don’t let them ruin your family.
Record absolutely everything, it is not illegal to record anyone involved with your family, and it’s something you will rely on later.
