Purchase a wedding ring in December 25 - It is not worn all the time by any means and has been extremally well looked after. The ring lost a diamond from the cluster in April. Returned to shop as it was still under warranty.
We have been told 3 prongs which hold the ring have been moved and residue under where the stone was found. To repair it, will be at our cost. A similar story to others looking at the reviews. This ring has been sold and is not fit for purpose. It has been well looked after and not damaged by us. The EJ have told us it our fault but proved no evidence we have damaged it rather than it not being robust enough to be a ring. Hugely disappointed and will not be purchasing or recommending to others to use EJ.

I went into “Look” at some earrings in the Victoria centre Nottingham store last week.
I was greeted by a lovely young lady called Stevie Nottingham. Stevie was so kind and courteous, didn’t rush me and didn’t make me feel I HAD to buy anything. Such a pleasant experience. I did buy some earrings. Which were packaged so nicely. I will definitely shop there again. (I usually buy on line). Thank you Stevie, you are a credit to Earnest Jones. I hope they appreciate you!
Well what can I say. We visited this store to buy a replacement wedding ring. A young lady called Aisha helped me choose, very patient and so lovely and so attentive, wonderful customer service on every level. Came away after ordering a beautiful ring which arrived almost straight away. Aisha is definitely a diamond asset to the company and store in Nottingham. Will never forget her kindness and warmth shown on that day. Xx
UPDATE 21/08 11:31: I just called EJ back as instructed. They have no idea why the call was reopened under another complaint number and there is apparently nothing more to discuss. Perhaps need to sort out your complaints procedure as well as your estimates/repairs/feedback and stop wasting customer time.
Had a necklace repaired last year which broke again within the year. I was charged £105 (no estimates - flat rate) for the repair on the understanding the clasp (both sides of the mechanism to make sure the chain stays round my neck) was replaced/repaired. All my receipt says is 'non-standard repair'
After I returned it, the repair team said that only one side was repaired and it was the other side that failed and I was asked to pay another £55 to repair the other side. I queried this as nobody ever told me exactly what was repaired and I assumed this was a full service.
They refuse to accept I have been misled and offered a small reduction to £39 for the repair alongside all kinds of technical detail about the parts of a necklace clasp and that it actually has two clasps. I am not a jeweller, that's why I pay an 'expert'. Will not be having the work done and will not be using them again when they fob off customers like this.

Went into ernestJones yesterday to explain about a gold necklace I brought that the fasten catch was a bit small. A lovely kind man put me a bigger one on it. I can not thank you enough. Would definitely recommend
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS PLACE AND GO ELSEWHERE.
Staff are extremely rude and unwelcoming specially Shirvani and Stevie. Purchased a wedding ring and got married in June. After a week my ring looks like it’s been worn for years. Was advised by the staff to go with this ring “due to it being hard wearing and heavy duty”. Called up store after wearing it for less than a week to be advised by Stevie it’s a metal and it will scratch.
This is not something that I will be buying everyday and being advised by them that it’s heavy duty and will last a long time, now I’ve lost trust and feel like I’ve been miss sold an item.
Been back and forth with the customer service and the actual store for months, who blame each other and none of them take responsibility. Refusing to give me a refund and take the ring back. Confirmed by store every gold products they have it’s actually plated and none of them are real gold. The staff would lie to you about anything and everything to sell you something fake and deny everything they’ve said.
DO NOT purchase or trust this establishment. Take your money and time elsewhere. Now stuck with a ring that I can’t wear and wasted my money on.

Vlad helped me with my questions and he was very helpful but also put me at ease about everything. He made me feel comfortable and purchasing the ring itself was a very easy process. Vlad was polite and funny, he explained everything about the ring including any necessary after care. He really made my experience a good one.

I entered the Nottingham Store in Victoria Centre and was pleasantly greeted with smiles by both 'Stevie' and 'Aisha' so was endeared instantly.
Stevie had no problem in showing me what was in store and coaching me on what was available. This was done professionally with a kind and happy attitude- which in today's world is unusual as greed normally takes precedent- I.e. "how can I make a bonus"
I remarked about Aisha's smile being - "so important to customers" and the professional way Stevie dealt with me being a lovely touch.
I do commend both young ladies (and they are young to have such qualities)
Please say some kind words to them as their efforts actually seem effortless- it all seems natural.
THANK YOU and please thank them both for my experience, sadly I didn't buy anything this time but only because I'm a ditherer and spoilt for choice.

This ring will be my Engagement Ring and it’s absolutely stunning. I could not be any happier. It’s glitters and shines just like the photograph and the day I get to wear it will be amazing. It may not be £££s but it’s most unique and so beautiful,

Store in Nottingham Intu Victoria centre. Went in looking for wedding rings it was a Saturday but there were no they clients in store. It was just me my partner and our daughter. There were four members of staff and not a single one was interested in assisting us. The attitude was disgusting. We left with the view to never go back to that store or the whole of Ernest Jones business. Went to Goldsmiths next door where we got looked after and managed to choose our rings there.

Purchased an FRC Vitality smartwatch online basis Instagram ads and via their sales partners - Jewellers Ernest Jones. While delivery was in time and the purchase itself was hassle free, the watch doesn't work and it doesn't pair with the app. Thoroughly disappointed as I expected the product to be of working quality due to the brand and cost. Additional hassle by having to take it back physically to an Ernest Jones' store. Frustrating that the actual issue with the smartwatch could not be diagnosed at the Store. The Store Manager was unable to find out why the watch wasn't working and expected me, the customer to know if it was related to the battery or a service issue. Now this will take 6 weeks for me to get the watch back. Very poor customer experience, service and expected more from Fredrique Constant as well as Ernest Jones. Instagram also be warned as to what they are promoting.

When I made my purchase at Earnest Jones I was very pleased with the service . Charlotte was very helpful in helping me in making my decision. I returned at a later date to have 2 links removed from the bracelet I purchased and again was served by Charlotte who removed these links for me personally and I didn’t have to wait long. Charlotte was very friendly and helpful.
