Disappointing
Rubbish! I had better results with an in-house whitening experience! For £650 i was even just hoping for 5 shades brighter. I had to suffer through all those nights of wearing the guards that were an extremely tight fit- I could nt wait to get them off! The 2 stars is for the enlighten whitening toothpaste- at least that's decent. It's like a temporary whitening effect I don t believe all these reviews at all-no way has this system worked and given 16 shades on a majority of people just on its own. Absolutely no way. However, I am pleased that I used Enlighten because if I had used a cheaper system that had not worked I would have said if I had known I would have used enlighten instead of this. I ll stick to in-house whitening sessions!!

Every smile responds differently to whitening, and factors like natural enamel thickness, tooth anatomy and starting shade can all influence the final result. Some people do see very large jumps in shade, but others may whiten more gradually, which is why your dentist’s clinical assessment is so important.
That said, we never want anyone to feel they’ve been left without clarity or support. If you’re willing, we’d really like to work with your dentist directly to understand exactly what happened in your case and explore whether there’s anything that can still be done to move you closer to the shade you hoped for.

Been using Enlighten whitening treatments through my dentist but iam carrying on using the serum and whitening toothpaste as you only get one of each with your 1st treatments I can really see a big improvement

Not the best experience overall
Things started out well enough. I noticed the biggest change in brightness/colour during week 1 with the week 1 gel. Week 2 was going well until the midway point when I then started to see some loss in the brightness and teeth started to look a little dull. The sensitivity and gum soreness started to hit around this time aswell. It wasn't too bad that I couldn't handle it though. I completed the 3 weeks and still had over 1/3 gels left in all my syringes. I'm sure I was using enough, I don't have big teeth.
Had my follow up appointment with my dentist and we both agreed I wasn't at the B1, was A2 or A3 from what I remember. But when I told them I had 1/3 of gels left in my syringes she advised me to go again from week 1 until week 3 until all gels were finished. So I did this and got another 5-6 days from each syringe. Again I noticed the biggest change in brightness with the week 1 stuff and things started to stall from midway week 2. The whitening wasn't really uniform, I'd notice the lower half of the bottom teeth and some upper teeth would be visibly darker than the top parts and yellowing was still clearly visible on some teeth.
I went back to my dentist again after this, thinking I must be one of the difficult cases I've read about while reading up on enlighten whitening. My dentist has now told me this is the best result I will probably get from enlighten which wasn't great to hear. It's not a B1. She said the enamel is thinner where the yellowing remains and recommended composite bonding.
Even with the bonding though if I'm not at a B1 with any of my teeth I'm not sure I'll get the result I was hoping for. And I'm wondering what happens going forward with the top up routine for enlighten? If I get the bonding work done will my gel trays still fit me?
Im just not in a good place right now with the results I have gotten for the money the system cost me. And there seemingly being no options left for me with enlighten evo4
