The English Center was founded in 2009 by American Brenda de Jong-Pauley, MA. The center provides CEDEO-erkend customized Business English training, including private, intensive, and in-company courses, plus accent reduction training, English for actors, job interview training and test preparation. With a team of 25 carefully selected native-speaker English trainers, we strive to facilitate client success.
The English Center has classrooms in Amsterdam, Amstelveen and Den Haag. Courses are also available online and at corporate locations.
We are recognized by both the CRKBO and CEDEO and partner in several Gemeente Amsterdam programs including Switch, ACS and ACM.
We believe in the power of communication, happy clients, customization, and quality learning experiences.

Attentive and professional
I highly recommend EnglishCenter. I had one-on-one lessons with Brenda, who is an exceptionally professional and dedicated teacher. Our primary focus was on refining pronunciation, and I could genuinely observe significant progress.

This is the perfect spot in Amsterdam to get your professional English to the next level. Great teachers, a fantastic location at the Vondelpark and it was also a lot of fun. So again, a fantastic experience! :-)
