This gym is a great place to be
This gym is a great place to be. Up until a couple of years ago I had never been to a gym and was out of my comfort zone completely. The team and clients at Lincoln however are just so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. I now love going to the gym! I have taken up Pilates and now have a personal trainer - Nicola who is just amazing and she is also the instructor for Pilates. Thank you Energie Fitness in Lincoln for turning a 50 year plus 'lady' into someone who loves going to the gym. Working out at the gym has so many physical and mental health benefits that I have just never realised before.

Love the classes
Love the classes, do wish the studio floors could be cleaner, quite dusty. Mainly noticed during morning sessions, when it’s sunny. Have used the gym exercise equipment briefly (approx 4 times). All in all I would and have recommended gym to friends.

Good gym
Love the gym - conveniently placed, ace staff and plenty of equipment. It isn't common to have to wait very long for equipment and other members are pleasant.
Cons -
Some of the equipment could use an upgrade as it is a bit damaged (through use - not by being mistreated)

the gym is very good apart from the…
the gym is very good apart from the shower area. i think the showers are very dated and need a whole new set of showers and a bit of attention to them.

Aim high...
The gym management and staff are very helpful and welcoming with well run classes and a friendly attitude. However, lately the standard of cleanliness has drop within the gym particularly the male changing room and studio. Also their seems to be a bit of a delay in getting un-serviceable equipment back up and running.
I feel that a "No towel No train" policy should be employed as in other gyms. Not only does that reduce the amount of blue roll that the gym needs to purchase, but it should be used to wipe down equipment for other users, instead of members using it all up wiping themselves down!

Equipment is still broken and stuff gets stolen and not replaced, messing up my routine completely

Good but could be better
Great spot, parking rarely a problem except at peak times but I try and avoid those. Great team working on the floor, very friendly and approachable. Lost 2 stars because the equipment is starting to date with equipment failures taking a long time to fix. D/bells losing their rubber sleeves. The paper towel dispensers on the gym floor rarely have anything in them. Also, the showers are either off or pouring molten lava onto your skin - I've stopped using them. But for the price, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Great value gym, well-equipped
Been coming twice weekly for just over 2 years. I focus mostly on cardio as I had a heart event in Dec 2015 which made me review my exercise regime which, at that time, was non-existent. Never have a problem getting to use a strider or treadmill, and rarely wait for weight machines. The ladies changing room can occasionally have a ‘drain’ smell which is unpleasant, and in the past could be short of soap or toilet roll, however, that seems to be resolved now. Altogether very good value for money.

Only complaint is that there is not always tissue and cleaning spray available for cleaning the equipment. Everything else is very good

Great Classes
Really enjoy the classes, kick boxing, spin, pilates, kettle blast, zumba & boot camp, varied, challenging & fun, always feel better afterwards. It’s only the website that needs some work i.e. when the time of a class changes & you don’t find out until you arrive on the day & you’ve missed it!
