A lovely place to workout!
The staff are really friendly and supportive which makes for a great experience. There is a variety of equipment to suit all needs and to allow for a variety of work outs which is amazing considering how much each it is compared to other gyms. However, I have found on occasion the classes end up over booked so there is not enough space for everyone. Also, the room the classes are run in is open to the rest of the gym which is something I have not experienced before at other gyms. This can make hearing the instructors difficult because of the noise of the gym and makes it feel less private. Regardless of this, I have enjoyed using energie fitness gyms and will carry on doing so.

Been a member for 2 years but lately stopped enjoying my time here. What keeps me here is the price and good membership offers which can be frozen and didn’t have any joining fee. Standard gym with basic facilities but these do need updating. Some machines aren’t fully equipped (e.g cable machine doesn’t have ankle straps so I’ve had to buy my own). If paying a full membership for a gym I feel like they should have all necessary equipment. The smell in the gym is horrible it hits you as soon as you walk in and the choice of music is usually awful. Gyms okay for getting your workout done but nothing special and don’t generally feel uplifted when I’m there.

I like the gym very much. I have the motivation to go to the gym very often. I feel more pumped everyday I step into this gym. I like the staff they are good to me. I'm also very happy with the spin the wheel contest as well.

The Canterbury gym is welcoming and…
The Canterbury gym is welcoming and friendly. It does not pretend to be what it is not. All the equipment is suitable for the likes of me, 73 year old. The changing facilities are basic,but he wants a powder puff changing room. There is adequate lockers, toilets and showers. Each time I and my partner turn up a crew members is ensuring the gym and facilities are kept spotless.

The staff are so helpful and it is small so you don't need to worry about being daunted when you first arrive. Exactly what I need in a gym and in a useful location.
