Went in to the EB/Snowboard Asylum store in MK try on some snowboarding boots for my first pair. I'd decided I wanted either step-ons or supermatic bindings so wanted to see if the step on compatible boots fit me or not (because I'm aware you shouldn't just buy any ol' pair of boots).
Cara came over to assist and spent the next hour or so getting me to try different boots and different sizes to find a match. She was incredibly knowledgeable and immediately knew what I should be looking for within minutes of looking at my feet!
When we started discussing bindings, just like with the boots, she was very open and honest about the products but allowed me to try them and come to my own conclusions. At no point did I feel pressured into making a purchase and she definitely wasn't trying to spur me onto the most expensive items... I hadn't intended to buy that day but I had such a good experience, I wanted to. I ended up going with a pair of thirtytwo boots and had them heat moulded there and then and she explained that I could go back at any time to have adjustments made.

UPDATE: Unfortunately after removing the liners after the first use, the stitching was coming undone.

I emailed thirtytwo who advised me to contact the store and a lady called Lucy responded to my email asking me to call her. I spoke to her on the phone and she was very apologetic. She got a pair of brand new liners from another pair of boots and put them aside for me, ready for when I'm next able to collect.

If I could add an extra star, I would. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff here.

Just had a boot fitting with Tom at Manchester and he was amazing, such a nice guy and very knowledgeable surrounding the whole of the skiing industry. Would really recommend to people if they had anything they needed for skiing.

Placed an order 5 days ago with these.
In that time no communication about what's happening ie an issue with the order / stock problem etc.
Never experienced this from other leading outdoor retailers.
Found out only by contacting them myself, that there was in delay in getting an item from one of the stores. In the meantime the customer is just wondering what's happening ?

Always seem to spend every time I go but the staff are so helpful and know what they are talking about.

I've been in a few times and as a man with a disability I was a little unsure at first at going in but tom was straight in there with help and advice. And I'm absolutely chuffed with my new bent 90s.

My husband and i went for ski boot fittings. Neither of us have owned boots before so it was a learning curve. Imo was absolutely fantastic throughout the 4 hours she spent with us (2hrs each). She explained the process in detail and answered all of our questions. She ensured that each of us had the opportunity to try on a variety of boots to match our needs and wants. She was clearly very experienced of the process and gave us a lot of detail to make the boots as comfortable as possible. I cannot recommend Imo enough and the process offered at Ellis Brigham Bristol. Although we didn't spend as much time with her colleagues the whole team were approachable, friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this shop for a ski boot fitting ! Thank you.

Tom was really helpful when I came in to choose new ski boots. He had read up on an irritating foot condition that I flagged up when I booked the appointment and could therefore make sure that my boots accommodated the issue.

I visited Arron in the Ellis Brigham store today who has been an absolute life saver! Having been to another specialist ski boot fitting that left me in terrible pain I thought I would get a second opinion, Arron confirmed my thoughts regarding the ill fitting boots and is clearly knowledgeable and specialised in ski/snowboard boot fittings, thank you soooo much - I am now pain free after the correct advice and boot stretching and ready for my trip next week!! I had booked an appointment to buy new ski boots at the Castleford store. Knowing my boot size, UK shoe size and having very small feet, I entered this information on the booking form in the hope it would give the store a heads up. Without taking away how professional and helpful the staff were, I arrived and was attended to on time, measured for boots. I was then given the option of “good news” or “bad news”. They had no boots of my size in store. A token bigger pair of boots were brought out to try (I think this was the good news) but I had to come back another time once other boots that I could try, came through from the warehouse. I understand how stock and different stores works, however if you are providing boot fitting services and have a suitable amount of notice, then a selection of boots around sizes should be sent to store for the appointments. I had travelled an hour to the store, which turned out to be a waste of time.

we came in to the Milton Keynes store Tuesday afternoon and were well served by a french canadian lady and after trying a few different jackets I eventually bought the Montbell EX800 and my wife bought a Patagonia sleeveless jacket

As I had only bought the Montbell in a warm shop I wanted to try it properly so the next morning I went for a short 15 minute walk in cold but dry weather. Sadly I found the jacket didnt warm me as expected so decided to return it for a refund. I had my receipt and had left all the original sales tags on the jacket just in case. The jacket was less than 24 hours from purchase at this stage and only worn for 15 mins

Our reception when we returned to the store was totally diffferent from the the warm approach of the day before when we were buying despite seeing the same sales lady again.

This time there seemed to be quite a bit of oohing and ahhing and going into the back office to speak with another staff member. We ended up with 2 if not 3 sales staff with us at the counter now. Then the sales lady proceeded to check what looked like every stich and seam of the jacket before - seemingly begrudgingly - continuing with the refund I had asked for.

It felt like I was under the spotlght the whole time and had done something wrong and was just waiting for them to go "aha" and catch me out.

This experience in your store has soured me from ever wanting to buy from your company again, What started off very well when I was interested in buying was chalk and cheese to what happened when i returned the jacket

I recently decided to treat myself to a new set of skis which I needed quickly before a February ski trip.
I contacted the shop in Braehead near Glasgow and was informed by a chap called Iain that he was expecting two sets of the skis I wanted the next day and that he would phone me when they were delivered.
In this day and age i honestly didn’t expect the phone call..
I was pleasantly surprised when he called the next day to let me know they had arrived.
I arranged a suitable time to call into the shop to discuss.
I met Iain Mc.. sorry dint get his surname who’s talked me through the ski specs and spent a great deal of time with me as I deliberated over the correct size.
His experience was invaluable in me buying the correct size and greatly appreciated.
He also involved one of his colleagues in the discussion and I truly felt I was given a very personal experience.
Overall a great experience with Iain who should be commended for his passion and great customer care.

Team in Glasgow are excellent. The boot fitting guy is really patient too!

Outstanding service today buying my first pair of Ski boots. Andy and Chris were amazing and the whole process went perfectly and I am now an owner of new boots with custom insoles and new ski socks. The service was 5 ⭐️ plus and the guys surely know there stuff thanks

I just wanted to give some praise to Ben, who spent a lot of time with me at the Covent Garden store making sure I got the right size shoe and letting me try many different sizes and options. The result is that I have a perfect fitting pair of waterproof trainers. He was very patient and knowledgeable and the other people there were also very helpful and friendly. BTW, they have a machine that measures and images your foot so that is also a big help in finding the right size shoe.
