Very prompt service, as always. My latest order was placed, online, on 8th August, it arrived on the 10th, despite their warning that there may be a delay due to preparation for an exhibition! I usually buy from Eileen's at exhibitions, to reduce postage costs, and have always found them to be very pleasant and helpful.
My order took multiple months to be dispatched. That would otherwise be alright (their website does state that certain items are subject to supply issues), but they didn't bother to proactively inform me about it - I had to contact them multiple times before I found out what was going on - and they weren't particularly forthcoming as to what exactly was missing (I would've been willing to remove the offending items from my order had I known).
On the positive side, they offer a great selection of items which you either can't find elsewhere or would need to spend a lot of time searching for - e.g. random bits of wire, special solders, etc.
They would gladly take your money, but then wait over a week to tell you the item is out of stock. They would then have the audacity to ask you to pay more money to split your order.
I was only able to catch them on the phone once in the week I've been trying to get hold of them.
The person on the phone was dismissive and blamed there importers and the virus.
Told me the order would take 6 to 8 weeks more...
To again which I said "Why should I pay extra for this?"
In the end they were rude hanged up the phone on me and canceled the order.
Would never buy from them again.
