I am writing to leave an extremely positive review for Amanda and Richard at Hull Road, York.
The service from start to delivery and beyond has been outstanding.
My mum popped into the shop on Monday for a scooter and between both Amanda and Richard got answers to all her questions and he scooter was delivered by Richard yesterday. Richard would not go until my mum fully understood how to safely operate the scooter and was so kind and respectful throughout. Today we have had a courtesy call from Amanda to check all is okay.
Just the best service ever!

I cannot recommend Eden Mobility York highly enough! We recently experienced a truly stressful situation on November 24th while visiting York when the wheel snapped off my chair. Amanda was absolutely incredible and provided help that went far beyond what we expected.
She was immediately caring, understanding, and incredibly supportive while we dealt with the crisis. Amanda, in particular, was an absolute star she was amazing, deeply caring, and helped us navigate the purchase of a new wheelchair during a difficult time. She made what could have been a traumatic experience feel manageable and even positive.
The quality of service at Eden Mobility York, demonstrated by Amanda, is truly outstanding. Thank you, Eden Mobility York, and a massive personal thank you to Amanda, for turning this difficult situation into a brilliant customer experience!

Bought a tri walker in the Hull Road, York store yesterday. Amanda was very friendly and helpful with no pressure selling. I would recommend Eden Mobility.

Visited Hull Rd York today. Amanda was very helpful and showed us different wheelchairs and gave us plenty of good advice. We left with what we required.

We went to Eden Mobility in York .and were dealt with by Riley who was very helpful, even though he was really busy dealing with other customers, as well as us. He was very patient, helpful and polite.

I visited Eden Mobility in York on the off chance that they may stock what I was looking for. Marie who served me was extremely helpful. They didn’t stock what I was looking for, but Marie ordered it for me on line and arranged for it to be delivered to my home.
It was a hot day and she topped my water bottle up after offering me some pink lemonade.

Just visited Marie and Dale at the York store on Hull Road. Both ladies could not have been more helpful. They were fantastic. I urgently needed some crutches following a sporting accident at the weekend. Great to receive what I call old fashioned friendly and curteous service.

Lynn at eden mobility york was really helpful when I chose my rollater, she gave me lots of information and tips, she was very warm and welcoming

I visited the York branch with my father who has significant mobility issues. We were looking for advice about a light weight scooter and were helped by the wonderful Lynne (a true asset to this company). She did an assessment and was very attentive to my father’s needs which was lovely. The result of our visit was the purchase of a wonderful Genie which matches our requirements exactly. My only issue now is a very impatient father who can’t wait for it to be delivered. Many thanks for excellent advice and service, thank you.

Sadly our experience was a negative one. The company arranged to have a scooter delivered from one store to our local store ready for us to view it on a certain prearranged day. When we arrived the lady didn’t know anything about our prearrange appointment and the scooter we were to view had not been delivered. We went on to look at the scooters in the store but unfortunately the lady didn’t know how to use them so couldn’t demonstrate properly. Also one wasn’t even charged up. We went on to look at a new one and decided on one but when she went to order it they didn’t have the colour we wanted, they didn’t have the second colour we wanted not any colour apart from grey. We don’t want a grey one. My daughter has stage 4 lung cancer and was struggling with having to use a mobility scooter in the first place and burst into tears. At this point I decided that we were not going ahead with any purchase and left. We felt quite sorry for the lady trying to run the shop.
A day or two later I received a phone call which unfortunately I didn’t answer in time. A few days later I received a message from a young man. I returned his call and he denied it was him even though he left his name. He wasn’t interested in what I had to say, I wasn’t angry or rude but he closed the call very quickly. Later in the day I received another call from another guy asking if we had received the brochure, I told him no as we hadn’t requested one. When I told him of our problem he also shut the conversation down. So sorry I would not recommend this company I felt they had no empathy with the customer.
