I just found some M50 trips on my account. I haven’t been on the M50 in at least a month.
I’ve immediately cancelled the tags, but
I have to go through all my bills now and check if any of is actually correct.
Something very dodgy is going on here.
I don’t know how long this has been going on.

Be very careful with these guys. The double charged me despite already paying at the hotel. I had removed my tag but they still overcharged me 88€ as they read my plate, and wouldn’t even acknowledge my customer complaint.
Easytrip Smart tag parking overcharge
Due to Easytrip's smart tag parking system not working correctly I was significantly overcharged. Easytrip admitted to this. I have been fighting them to get a refund for 6 months now!! Each and every time being told they are looking into it, processing my refund, contacting QPARK, blah blah excuses excuses, incompetence, thievery. Absolute disgrace.
Predatory and borderline criminal
It should against the law to set up an account by app but you have to speak by phone twice to close. In the call to close then told I must wait for a call before the account is closed. Meanwhile I am charged full daily rate at parking where I have discount. I will be filing a report with the authorities.

Payment Issues
Had an issue with payments on my account not processing correctly. Called Easytrip and the call was answered very quickly, gentleman explained the issue and sorted it in 2 minutes (including cancelling the penalty notice + fee that had been incurred due to processing issue).
Unexpected great customer support!!!
I am having an issue with being overcharged on some Tolls for my campervan. Sent few emails about it to Easytrip.ie but no answer yet.
Decided to call instead and after waiting for 7 minutes, I got through Gail, incredible support and got sorted straight away.

I was a bit disappointed with the reviews here but after the call, I cannot agree with any of them!
Bad customer service
Phoned to close account, was advised this was done, money was deducted two months later. Followed up with emails and phonecalls and no response.
Utterly hopeless
Utterly hopeless. Just a total disaster...do NOT use this company or go anywhere near them
Horrendous
Non responsive to emails sent due to a dispute and nobody answers the phone yet they persist on emailing me my monthly statement minus their fees deducted from my account…. As for their customer service, well there is none. I’d go as far to say they’re criminal !
AVOID them!!
AVOID them!!! The devil in details (small charges for nothing).
First, they charge you for posting the tag to you. Then you pay for a monthly toll subscription, which is normal, right? But what happens next is they charge you every time they top-up your account, forcing you to pay a lot of money to avoid it, which will be frozen on your account.
It's clearly a scam because there are no warnings when you set up auto-top-up. I hate this kind of company that doesn't give you enough warnings that they charge you for everything they want.
Stay away from Easytrip Car Insurance - a total and utter disaster
A total and utter disaster. Easytrip Car Insurance is the most incompetent broker I have come across in 40 years’ driving.
Three months after paying them in full for one year’s car insurance, I have still received no insurance certificate. Despite repeated emails and phone calls, and repeated promises that my certificate will be with me ‘tomorrow’ it has still not arrived and they cannot give me the proof I need that my car has been insured.
Have been stopped by the Guards twice and it is only down to their decency and the emails I can readily show to them that I have sent to Easytrip that I haven’t been given any grief - despite them sternly telling me to ‘get the cert’. Will escalate this to the formal body.
Non response to emails
On 22 November 2022, I notified Easytrip of a change to my email address. I found that I could not change it myself on my account profile. I received a reasonably prompt reply by email, (to my new email address!), asking that I confirm my new email and stating that Easytrip would make the necessary change.
However, over three months later my old email address which I do not now use, is still on my account profile. My recent emails have gone unanswered. I am extremely disappointed at the lack of common courtesy and very low standard of customer care.
Lack of customer service
They advised Me today my bank had refused payment on topup. Not the case. Its their in house issue. Very bad customer service
Run screaming from this shower
This is without doubt the worst company I have ever dealt with. Tags on our two cars stopped working and I emailed to find out what the issue was. These people are not contactable, but might combe back to you after weeks with the same stock email.
In spite of this the kept accumulating charges (for tags that no longer exist).
Their "customer service" is like some weird social experiment.
If you value healthy blood pressure- stay well away.
Only pays lip service to 'Customer Service'
Here is another company that will pretend that they have customer service. They (like many others) will put an automated under resourced phone answering system in place and lead customers along pretending your call is important to them. To be quite honest in this case you are not, the size of their bottom line is more important to them. Why do I say this about Easytrip?
Today I rang Easytrip to change my address. The phone was answered quickly with a an automated voice to inform me that they were busy today and that I was 7th on their queue. I was given an approximate time of 33 minutes. 20 minutes into the call I was 5th. I continued to hold (doing other work) the phone played bad music with useless automated voice interruptions and back to the same bad music.
When it came to 60 minutes I was still 5th in the que, I gave up. Like I said earlier they only pay lip service to 'Customer Service'.
Terrible service
Pathetic service. Continually trying to close my account since 2020. To this day still receiving Tag bills for a tag that was returned. There was €70 balance when it was to be closed and never credited. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
No response to faults
No replies to complaints, service does not work. You can opt in to services yourself, but need to call them to opt out. Gangsters.
Wish I had taken these reviews more seriously.
