Great product let down by poor support…

Great product let down by poor support when it is needed.

User beware - subscriptions are non-refundable/transferrable, so if you have a member of staff who leaves you will be unable to transfer the subscription over to another member of your team - this is a major issue as far as I am concerned.

When support is needed, their chat system is very poor - responses take [quote] 'a few hours' (pretty poor for an in-built chat-system) and responses when they are provided are curt, at best.

Ignored for over a week and counting

I have used e-sign for a number of years across various businesses and right now have two accounts - Both of which I am now closing due the lack of support with a ongoing technical issue on the platform. Since the 2nd Feb 2026 clients cannot upload files in JPG or PNG format, e-sign response can they not do it as a PDF, what a shocking customer experience imagine asking your client please take a pic of your ID and now please export as PDF before you upload, what a JOKE!
I have had a open chat for over 5 days that has not been picked up and emailed support with a complaint and no response so it sums E sign up ..... they do not care about their customers or your customers. My advice stay away.

Very poor experience after years of partnership. Ignoring emails

Poor experience. We used E-Sign for around 5 years. In 2024 we suddenly had our envelope usage slashed in half, when we queried why they told us an email went round (We never received it) explaining they were limiting usage and prices staying the same which meant less service for the same price. After complaining E-Sign honoured our original agreement until the end of our 12 month agreement. The product shouldn't be changed half way through a 12 month agreement anyway.

In 2025 we received communication again that they were going to be reducing the level of service again, but, keeping the prices the same. When questioning why they were yet again attempting to do this mid contract, we were met with no help and just told we need to either pay the new prices or leave.

In the end we settled on a pro rata refund but, not before months of unanswered emails requesting support / answers for why they were trying to change the terms of the contract, massively unfair in our favour, mid contract period when we had already paid up front.

Very poor business operations.

We are sorry that you feel the service has been unfair. In 2024, we introduced caps on our unlimited envelope plans, which was communicated to all customers. In 2025, we reduced the envelope limits to be more reflective of the current market, with other providers offering a similar volume of envelopes, but annually rather than monthly.

We completely understand the frustration which is why we honoured your original agreement as we also did for other customers. However, even with the reduction in monthly envelopes, we are still the most cost-effective provider of advanced eSignatures in the UK.

NOT Free Forms. Don't Get Suckered

AFTER filling out our form, giving esign all our private information, there are two ways to "pay" for the free will they advertised. Crap company. Don't be suckered in. And Don't Use E-Sign. Ripp off company that sucks.

Absolutely unacceptable experience.
I was charged twice for a subscription—once for the Personal Plan (which I had selected) and again for a more expensive Standard Plan that I never signed up for. When I contacted the company to address the issue, I received no reply. Despite following up, my emails were completely ignored.

Mistakes can happen, but the real issue here is the complete lack of communication and accountability. It's deeply frustrating to be left without support while being overcharged. As a paying customer, I expected at the very least a timely and professional response.

Very poor service and a disappointing experience overall. Proceed with caution.

I told you to keep the £10 and send my £96…

I told you to keep the £10 and send my £96 overpayment. You told me to contact, which I did and you NEVER made the payment. Now you are staying you paid me £10 which is a lie. Therefore, I haven’t received my £96 nor have I received the £10 you claimed you paid. Alright, post the payment record here to prove you are not a deceitful lot. Do not say it is against company’s policy, I am giving you permission. I will keep reviewing regularly, until you pay up. This is the only way, to warn other members of the public. An HONEST review. It has been 2 years!!!!!

Don't sign up for this scam they claimed to only charge $9.99 cancel anytime they charged me a whole year to my card .They are unreachable by email only Emailed them to cancel
They canceled my account but won't send me a refund of any of $84.00 chargedThey are from the UK

Do not use this company

Do not use this company ! No real business values.

I tried to cancel the subscription and because I did not immediately before renewal they charged me for a full year.

Great platform

Great platform, have been using for a number of months now and it has made getting signatures for my documents so much quicker and simpler.

i especially like the auto reminder feature to save me chasing up on signatures

Fantastic Product the company is communicative and nothing too much trouble

Too much notifications

Generally the experience is good but I have to rate it low due to one main reason.
i get a lot of unnecessary notifications. for example If i receive an envelop with 10 documents to sign then i will get 12 notifications, the first one is to notify me that there is an envelop to be signed, the other 10 are sent every time i sign a document within an envelop and the last one is when the last person after me signs the envelop. this is too much and I strongly suggest that your system could have an option for user to determine the type/number of notifications to receive at each stage of signing.
