Avoid! Ordered a sofa which eventually arrived after being messed around numerous times with delivery slots and having to waste time on countless phone calls. The sofa looked cheap and was poorly made so arranged to return it. The return itself went smoothly but weeks later still hadn't received any sort of confirmation. The live chat function on the website seems to have ceased to function. I wasn't about to waste more of my time on hold trying to speak to someone so emailed instead. Was given incorrect information that I then had to chase them up on again. No sort of apology for the hours I have spent trying to sort this out. Wouldn't recommend buying anything from this company and wouldn't be surprised if they soon go bust.
Overly priced cheap stuff
I've bought from Dwell a few times and each time had an issue with my items. They are made so cheap and not worth the extortionate prices.
My latest experience was a £700 table which warped after 2 months.of bare minimum usage. After Dwell sending out their care team to investigate, I was told it was a manufacturing fault.
They didn't have the part to fix it nor did they have the item to swap. They would offer me a mere £90 refund (for a £700 damaged table?!) Or I could have it collected for a full refund.
They advised me I'd need to dismantle the table for collection. I've just had surgery so this wasn't possible. It took me a full morning to build this table (it's a big one) and was very strenuous so there's no way I'd be able to take it apart.
Despite offering apologies, the customer service team wasnt sympathetic at all, telling me that the company who collect are not under contract to dismantle but they could try and see if they would help on the day but they might not. Not an inclusive service at all. While my surgery recovery is temporary, what would they do if someone had a permanent issue? Not very inclusive at all.
They advised me to get a friend or family member to help me! What a joke! 1. I live too far from anyone and 2. Why should I have to ask a family member to help me dismantle an item that has been confirmed as having a manufacturing defect?
I asked if they were willing to offer a gesture of good will given all this trouble, thinking maybe they would chuck a discount code my way. But nothing.
I won't be shopping with Dwell again - rip off cheap crap! Don't waste your time

Item was sent out via Parcelforce which will have cost less than £10
I understand charging for a return but charging £72 is obscene
Charging 20% for a large furniture item is possibly understandable but such a charge for cushions is despicable

Same issue here. Bought in mid-November because the dining table was “in stock” and the delivery time was “7-10 working days”. We are without a table for Christmas. What can a family do without a dining table at Christmas? Then I heard nothing from them for three weeks. After more than 10+ calls, emails and online chats, I finally got a call from their online sales manager. He plainly stated that their sale contract states that their standard delivery time is 10 WEEKS. Then why bother state on your website that an item is in stock and delivery time is 7-10 working days is beyond me. All Dwell care about is to make a sale and they do not care at all about after-sale customer service. AVOID this company, spend your hard-earned cash elsewhere. A totally useless, scammer company. DO NOT buy from this company
Excellent experience from ordering to delivery.
Took the chance of ordering a full suite without seeing it or sitting on it. I went for the Monaco range in Callida fabric. I had originally ordered x 1 3 seater sofa and 1 chair with footstool in cream but my husband wanted it changed to grey and x2 2 seaters, 1 chair and footstool. I contacted Dwell Support and they were very helpful in changing the order and this was done quickly and efficiently. I ordered mid October and was expecting delivery in 7 weeks. Around mid November i contacted Dwell to ask for an update and they were able to tell me that the suite would be in the UK warehouse on 12th December. I got a text from DFS delivery on Friday 16th to say delivery would be on Saturday 17th December. I was able to track the delivery and got a phone call 1 hr before they were due. Installation was quick and the 2 delivery men were very friendly. Suite arrived in perfect condition and set up where i wanted them to go in the living room. All in all an excellent experience and service and i will be buying from Dwell again. We love our new sofas!
The Grinch who kept my bed before Christmas
Dwell promised to deliver bed and mattress before Christmas (placed order mid Nov). No communication from Dwell. I chase them up on 15th Dec only to be told it will be delivered Jan possibly Feb. I chase them again asking for at least the mattress to be delivered as I'm currently sleeping on an air bed but they told me no they can't do that. I call again today wanting to cancel my order and I'm told I have to wait up to 72 hours for someone to call me back and only then can I cancel it and possibly receive a full refund. Dwell did not contact me once. Worst experience.

This is the second time I have purchased this sideboard as I actually think the product itself is OK. The one star is because Dwell has really let itself down by using the delivery company called Wincanton. This review is based on my purchase of my second sideboard, which was ruined due to my delivery experience. I did fill in a feed back form to Wincanton immediately but never heard another word. The drivers were rude and sullen, they were unhelpful and refused to help me remove any packaging even though I am disabled. I asked about help to take the packaging off but they said they didn't do that. I was somewhat surprised as the previous sideboard had all its packaging removed and taken away when it arrived back in June this year. When the drivers left (one having asked to take a cigarette from a packet a friend had left on the side) I discovered that they had placed the sideboard facing the wrong way around with the door and drawers facing the wall. One driver had commented as he left "you'll have fun moving that as it weighs over 80KG". I felt totally humiliated and depressed. I like to focus on what I can do, not what I cant. This had me beaten. Dwell, I shall never use you again while you still use this terrible delivery service. Wincanton, shame on you.

Poor return polcy
I bought 2 bar chairs for £140, along with some dining chairs, they are too high to use at a breakfast bar, I contacted customer services to return, they said they would be in touch for a date in 3-4 days, heard nothing, called again, this time told it would be a £96 return fee and you have to return all items I bought. Didn't realise they were owned by DFS. Poor customer care. Have bought several items from Dwell in the past. Won't buy from here again.

Similar to recent reviews left. Delivery date on the website is a complete lie. After having to chase them myself told delivery now in Jan despite it saying 2 weeks on website. Awful customer service with a promise to get a call back. IF YOU CANNOT MEET THE 2 WEEK DELIVERY PLEASE CANCEL MY ORDER.
FALSE ADVERTISING
I had ordered a bed two weeks ago, website said it was in stock (still does) and would be "delivered by Christmas" (still does). Having heard nothing on a delivery date, I rang Customer Service to be told it will be delivered in mid Jan. I have been told twice by customer service that management will call me but I have again heard nothing. This is the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. Not acceptable and completely false advertising.

Worst customer service ever
The worst customer service ever! Ordered at the beginning of November, Wincanton postponed delivery twice because of a “supply chain issue”. When we spoke to their customer service team they said that Dwell had sent the items with the wrong labels on so they couldn’t deliver them to us. Countless calls to Dwell and still not resolved. Absolutely useless.
Terrible quality products and products…
Terrible quality products and products get heavily discounted - I bought a table for £629 ( with £40 off for new buyers). It was within 3 weeks on a Black Friday sale for £549 - so would have cost me £509 to buy. £80 is a lot of money for 4 weeks
No quality control, but all good in the end
I have ordered a console table and a tv unit from Dwell. The console table arrived with a slight dent on the metal frame, while the tv unit had a problem with the opening mechanism of two out of the three available doors. The closing/opening mechanism was installed 3mm far away and the doors couldn’t trigger it. Eventually, I fixed this issue with a 5mm by 3mm magnet purchased on Amazon for £5. So all good in the end despite the lack of quality control.

Happy with my dining table I really like how it looks in my room, but the staff in the Brent Cross branch were bit unprofessional, they sat while I asked them questions I felt bit uneasy as they seemed unbothered about serving us, other than that went home and order online instead. I would give more reviews if the delivery didn't take as long.

Just received an email after various WhatsApp’s and telephone conversations ( which always seems to end up with “ someone will contact you within 72hrs “ and the you have to call them back yourself ) stating that the light I had requested to be returned can’t be returned now as it out of the 14 day return period even though first contact was made only a week after purchase, customer service and aftersales are terrible
