Sorry to hear you had issues with the delivery of your item. We have checked our emails and are unable to find any correspondence from yourself regarding this. As you opted for Royal Mail we do state it is not a guaranteed next day service. We can see from your order it took five days to arrive (3 working days) If you pop us an email when your item has not been delivered on time our team are able to chase this with Royal Mail, due to the length of time it took to arrive in this instance we would always refund your shipping. We do encourage customers to contact us directly when they have an issue with shipping, we always dispatch goods the same day when the order is placed before the cut off time but unfortunately we are unable to offer any 100% guarantee once it is in the hands of a courier. We pride ourselves on using the most reliable couriers as we understand the frustration felt when your parcel is late or lost which is why we use Royal Mail and DPD. You are able to contact customer services via the online contact form or by emailing customerservices@dressedinlucy.com. You can also get in touch via our social media channels on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

With regards to the sizing, any complaints regarding the sizes are investigated. The returns form has a notes section for you to fill in if there is an issue with the item. Upon return the item would be measured against our size guide. If we find there to be a size discrepancy we would deem the item faulty and we would always offer an exchange or full refund for the item along with a written apology and discount code.

Hi Beatriz

All orders have the tracking information attached to them. You simply just need to login to your account and click on the order. You will find the tracking information to the right of the screen. With your order, you ordered yesterday at 17:30pm. This means you ordered after the 3pm cut off point as advertised on the website. As you ordered after the cut off time this means your order will be dispatched today. Once this has been dispatched you will receive an email notifying you that the order has been dispatched. You will then be able to track your parcel on royal mail’s website as this is the service that you have selected. If you select DPD you will receive a time slot which tells you when it will arrive. Unfortunately royal mail does not offer this service.

You placed your order on a Saturday. The business does not operate on a weeked unfortunatley. Our delivery section on the website does state the following:

Royal Mail UK Next Day Delivery
Takes 1 working day (if ordered before 2:30PM Mon-Fri, excluding Sundays and Bank Holidays) Please note this is not a guranteed service and can be subject to delays during this season.

This means that you have to have placed your order before 2:30pm Monday-Friday (on a working day), as it takes 1 working day to be delivered. Saturdays are not classed as a working day so your goods will not have been dispatched on a weekend. Your order will be dispatched today as today is a working day, to be delivered tomorrow. You will receive an email to let you know your parcel has been dispatched today.

We urge all customers to read the delivery section on the website as well as the terms & conditions prior to ordering to avoid any confusion or disapointment. If you do have any queries you can contact the customer services department mon-fri 9-5pm who will be able to assist you. We take all our negative reviews here seriously so find it rather concerning when we are given such a negative review when it involves an issue beyond our control.
