Ham and tomato baguette bought today £9
Normally with salad and crisps enough for two people.
Baguette size was small, barely any salad ,no crisps
What a total rip off for the price
Feel like I have been totally ripped off.
Will never buy again

My visit to the restaurant unfortunately left a very bad impression. The tables were dirty, which immediately affected the comfort of the meal. The customer service was below expectations – there was a clear lack of interest in the guests. The prices turned out to be definitely inadequate compared to the quality of the food served. Additionally, the plate on which the dish was served had a very unpleasant fishy smell (I did not order fish), which is absolutely unacceptable. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place.

I made a mistake and booked 1 child today to meet Santa and the other 3 children 2 weeks ago. We turned up today & the staff and manager were amazing even though it was fully booked. It would have ruined Christmas and would have been all my fault. But they bent over backwards and everyone was so welcoming and friendly!! They helped the magic of Christmas even more. Thank you so much.

Visited Dobbies in Peterborough on October 18th at midday.
The cafe has recently been refurbished, sadly the food and the staff haven't.
The descriptions of the food on offer bore no resemblance to what we were given.
My panini, costing £10, came with a "dressed side salad" which consisted of a handful of chopped lettuce, half of which was withered, and slivers of red cabbage. No sign of any onion, tomato, cucumber - or any dressing. The crisps were stale.
The actual panini was grabbed from a pile of already prepared white paninis on a tray on top of the open counter. I was not offered the option of brown or seeded . This was then hurriedly warmed up, NOT toasted.
My friend had a baked potato with baked beans and salad. The potato was minuscule and was served with one meagre spoonful of baked beans together with a similar offering of salad to my own - although she did find a small sliver of cucumber. The whole thing was child portion sized.
The staff were neither friendly or helpful.
The refurbished seating is fine but I suspect your money would be better spent on training your staff and perhaps offering fresh appetising food.

The lady making the drinks was slow we took our food to the hot counter and asked them to put it in the hot cupboard till we managed to get our drinks or our food would be cold. No apologies for the delay or they could have sent those wanting just hot drinks to the section for just drinks but no the hot counter ran out of room to store breakfasts while the queue waited for drinks. Then when we finally did get our drinks had to wait at the till for people in front to sort out their dobbies membership form. By the time we actually got to a table to eat our eggs were solid and the hash browns had gone rubbery. Won't be eating in there again

It’s been a few years since I went there but now it’s very nice and the food hall is good along with the cafe Keen prices on items like lawnmowers will be back soon

We had lunch at Dobbies Peterborough, the pototo and leek soup was amazing

Dobbies Hampton Peterborough just had the most disgusting breakfast I’ve ever tried to eat.I actually only eat some beans with a dried top . Black pudding I had to spit out , bacon was solid as was the egg ! Do not waste your money on this crap !

We love this place. It’s our favourite place to go every week.
Always have cake and coffee and lunch as we visit twice a week.
The staff are lovely helpful and polite.
We go to the one near Peterborough and it’s great.
Only one issue is it’s so hot needs air conditioning of some sort.
Wouldn’t stop going, but it’s uncomfortable in this heat we are having.
We do sit outside but the wasps dive bomb you so better indoors.
I would recommend anyone to visit.

I recently visited the garden centre and its adjoining restaurant. The selection of plants and gardening supplies was impressive, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

However, I was quite disappointed by the lack of air conditioning, especially during the hot weather. It made both shopping and dining quite uncomfortable. The restaurant offers tasty food and a pleasant menu, but the heat inside really took away from the overall experience.

It’s a place with great potential, but I hope they consider installing proper ventilation or air conditioning in the near future.

Popped in for a breakfast. It was cold by the time we sat down,after queueing for drinks ,the fried egg was congealed rubber . A very disappointing expensive experience, won't recommend and won't go there again.

I purchased an item today from Dobbies in Peterborough.I have visited before and never had a problem. However today I purchased a battery operated Xmas ornament and it did not work.I rang Dobbies and after hanging on for 30 minutes I was cut off.There was no message saying you were in a queue.The item had obviously been returned previously as the instructios were screwed up at the bottom of the box.All I wanted to know was how long had I got to returnit.I am 81 not very mobile and cannot use public transport, and it would cost me £60 there and back to use a taxi. My neice took me today but it might be some time before she could visit me again. Iive on my own.AllI want is an answer to a simple question. By the way the staff were excellent

My 87 year old father needed a wheelchair, what a fuss that ended up with my mother having to leave her drivers license. Went in to the cafe. Will not be going again. Hot food was being cleared away at 14.40 and only one lady making hot drinks so massive queue. Tables not getting cleared either, all felt a bit dirty. A couple of young lads working hard now to try and clean the restaurant.

They were amazing staff other there and the lady that served me.

If you want a vegan afternoon tea don’t visit Dobbies Garden Centre at Peterborough. They do not understand the meaning of vegan. My daughter booked afternoon tea for us all last Sunday to celebrate Fathers Day. A vegan afternoon tea was booked for my youngest son. The only things that were vegan were the four finger sandwiches. Two with vegan cheese in and two with cucumber and Tomato. A waiter appeared with cakes saying these are vegan as they don’t contain beef gelatine. The scones and cakes all contained dairy so not vegan. A totally disappointing and very expensive experience. £16 for four finger sandwiches and a flat white coffee with oat milk.

It is always a pleasure to sit with friends or family with a nice beveridge.

Went to restaurant for coupling but small print caused issues at the till
Having selected the fish there was no real vegetarian option as all other dishes were meat based

Plenty of choice from fresh ,bright plants,gifts,a food hall plus a lovely restaurant.

Good selection of plants,lovely restaurant and good food outlets

Great food and drinks.

Brought some plants which are doing really well.
